Anyone notice at the very end of the trailer where all the cars are driving by the camera with their lights on dipped beam, the very last car to pass just before the track logo fades in switches to full beam giving a tease of the new headlight lighting effects. :)

Remember there was an "Indy 500" event in GT5 which consisted of sportscars. Just because a track has a marquee event does not mean that PD will include cars that are most associated with the circuit.

Truuuuuue. That XR8 is so alone and had no home track to race on. I'm still keeping hope alive. We had BTCC cars in previous GT but no tracks. Now we have "Silver-Hatch" and even though DTM cars run there(Brands) and GT3(Silverstone) as well, we'll see if we get some kind of BTCC representation this time.
We also had Sonoma ( mainly for LeMans cars) but, no NASCAR. We lost that track and got Daytona and Stock cars. Hopefully this being the biggest/most popular race(and track) in the Southern Hemisphere, will make it a must do for PD to include the cars.

I figured the last of the new tracks to ship with GT6 would be Mount Panorama, which is great. I like real-world tracks and this one is definitely high on my list. Great to see it has a full day-night cycle. Add weather and the full package is here.

PD make the best trailers going. Wow, great news.

Here's my favorite lap of Bathurst (especially over the top of the mountain), old but Bathurst hasn't changed all that much since then.

That was one heck of a lap!! Love how the inside is lifting all the time...be great if PD modelled that:tup:

This will probably be the only track I'll continually do infinite laps to replicate 161 Laps in Arcade Mode. Forget my earlier posts, I'm confident now, that we'll get V8s. We have to. Holden already have their cars in the game and Im aure theyd love to have the VF in GT6. PEPSI wouldn't be against displaying the FPR Falcon in this world renowned game. NISSAN had GT:A drivers in the Altimas and are preparing those same drivers for an assault for next years Bathurst 1000. And PD really dont need need Mercedes-Benz permission to do the E63 as its technically classified as an Erebus Motorsport V8 Supercar. He, if theyre not on the list December 6then, whatever. But I believe they will be.

Your confidence is misplaced. While I hope they bring Aussie V8's into the game, there's no reason as of yet to suspect they will. Yes it would be logical, but there are dozens of other logical moves PD could have made in the past and never did. They will or they won't be there and we have no reason to suspect either one at this point.

Plus, you mostly need the day/night-cycle to recreate the Bathurst 12 hours, not the Bathurst 1000, so that would mean GT3 cars instead of V8 Supercars. Coincidentally, some of those are already in the game.

Chances are 50/50 on V8 Supercars to be in GT6, I'd say.

V8 Supercars are so boring and so far from their street counterparts, give us old 60's and 70's Bathurst racing cars instead!! Cars that were raced on sunday and driven to work on monday! Cars that you and I could buy from any dealership across Australia...

SVT Cobra GT
Really glad this circuit is in GT6. Still quite intrigued as to what the other 'secret location' is in Australia.

Sydney Opera House photo travel location. I'll happily bet on it.

If I'm wrong I'll trade you a premium Countach. Deal? :dopey:

A good reply to this would be that little girl off the taco add.
Why not both?

Current-gen V8S and class Group A and Group C cars.

I don't recall if PD said the secret location was a track or not. If they didn't specify that it was a track then I'm guessing you're probably right and I wouldn't want to take that bet!

Trailer is not indicative of final product.

I really hope for the Adelaide street circuit. The Albert Park is a bit of boring circuit to me, also in a F1 car. Phillip Island would be great but it's more common for motorcycling so I doubt it will be in. Maybe Eastern Creek or Surfers Paradise will be in, but only time will tell...

Surfers Paradise would be my personal pick.

We have many "classic" race circuits so far, but Surfers is one damn great street circuit with amazing confugration and stunning backdrops.. IMO much more than Adelaide.

If there is another track it will be DLC, since we've now already got the 7 new tracks.

It just occurred to me...we are skeptical about just about everything that comes from PD and Kaz and rightfully so based on recent history...why do we hold the promise of "7 new tracks" to be sacred?

Well it's about the only thing they've stayed consistent on in GT6 promotion and now we have seen exactly 7 new (from GT5) tracks.

Maybe 200++ new cars with new sound on day 1?

You guys don't half set yourselves up for disappointment.

Another thought occurred to me...💡 The 7 track promise was quite a while ago and we know putting tracks together must be a massive undertaking. How is it they can keep a promise like that, but fall short on a number of other things like the course maker, sounds etc. If anything would be missed you would think it would be this huge task. It must mean either the tracks were completed some time ago leaving no doubt they could keep their promise or that this is a top priority in terms of marketing and something the feel they absolutely cannot fall short on..or both of course..

Nice. No new cars in the the trailer though, sadly.

There always has to be pessimists like you eh? Always looking at the glass half empty. Can you not just be content with what PD has worked hard on?

Trailer is not indicative of final product.

Generally the trailers are created using the same in game assets just at a higher quality pre set. Whilst it will not portray the final release candidate, it will be indicative of it.

All important tracks are in the game, just "repair" the damn sound PD and GT6 will be a winner!

My bet is that it's a course maker location. Hopefully a rally scenery.

That would be great. I hope we finally get point to point track creation. Imagine, 16 cars racing across a 20x20Km area over hills and through valleys at night to the flag. You could have epic 30 minutes of unique road to race on p2p.

The headlight example you used reminded me of the rain in the windshield trailer. That was not fully indicative of the final product IMHO.

I tend to use PD's trailers as a "Vision" of what it should be. Not how it will be.

I hope to be wrong and the game looks as beautiful as the trailer, but then I don't suppose it would need a trailer if it did.
