Now you are stretching it... LoL Would be fun side quests, but doubt that's the idea of fun for Kaz
True with Kaz part. Probably not his idea of fun. But a little comedic relief after a tough race would not be a bad thing. :D

Maybe polyphony could make these GT Auto things be mini games. I want mini game where I can grab my car and stretch it when doing widebody.

Complete with funny noises and hilarious animations that make my driver look like he is humping the car, of course.
Like this?

I'm sure this will be in an upcoming update 👍

One thing I haven't seen mentioned much is how great Circuit Gilles Villeneuve sounds. I was doing the special Nations Cup race today and everything felt so alive. The roar of the crowds as you drive past combined with all the sounds of the screaming engines and tire squeals that you can hear even when they're on the other side of the hairpin.

It really added to the experience and made the race feel super immersive. I'm not sure if it's just due to the tight nature of the track that makes everything sound louder, but the other circuits could definitely do to have the sound levels of stuff like the crowds boosted a bit. It really felt like a live event.

Was that in VR? Thanks.

Something's changed in the last 24hrs. I've been attempting the Hachiroku 80's race all week trying to get a win with a CRB.

I've been chasing down P1 (Miyazonc) in every attempt navigating backmarkers on the last 2 laps. This morning I booted up the PS5 and jumped in the same race. This time I got into P1 early and Miyazonc was chasing me down the entire race. And no backmakers either.

This is not a complaint, it was actually a pretty awesome race.

Adding to the post above, moving forward, PD have no excuse not to tune up the AE86 to N2 specs. When they had the Toyota GR events, I wasn't too happy.
I was a little upset the AE86 didn't get the full N2 treatment.
They had all the parts to do this for those Daily Races and Special events back then. I don't know why it took them so long to build the cars in the PP(Shtaaaaahhhhp).

I loved this race but being in the 2 pepper chili car and losing a few places at the start made me have to chase down P1 for the majority of the race. Not a bad thing, but it's pretty sad to know I was several tenths faster through the track only to be completely steamrolled on the back straight by the AI having racing transmissions...

Was able to sample the 296 GT3 in the Nurburgring 2 Lap race in the Power Pack. Really nice interior in PSVR2. Love looking over the front fenders with its aero detailing. Lots of info(not all active) in the MFD. The sound and handling are awesome. Weird hearing a turbo in a Ferrari GT3 since using the 458 GT3 for daggone eight years!

I do really hope they can add inprovements to this fearure. It changes the immersion and I believe that taking care/maintaining tour cars is a huge part of being a car person... The target population of the game

Nice to see cars getting dirty during races, (not that I actually noticed to be honest).
A real shame the dirt seems to disappear without using the car wash though.
It would be very cool if you could avoid washing cars and see the dirt build up more and more after each race.

Also, when are we going to be able to buy and race the brilliant Toyota Minolta?
Such a brilliant car to use in the past I think it is long overdue for for GT7

I‘m so glad PD finally added the 296 GT3. I haven‘t had the time to try the new race tracks but I‘ve been creating a few replica liveries for the Ferrari over the last couple of days. Many more will follow!

Photos one, two, four and five in particular if I saw them anywhere other than a video game forum I wouldn't have thought twice about them being real pictures.

Totally agree. I got my eye in with a stock Z-tune. Anything above Gr.3 is too fast for learning a new track for me.

Depends on the track really.

I think that the many chicanes on CGV just aren’t that fun and honestly even a bit exhausting on a high torque wheel in a fast car.

GR4 really takes the edge off and makes it very enjoyable for me.

Hi everyone. I think this is the right topic, but if not, I apologize.

How are the seasonal menus updated? Was it just this time or will you be updating them soon?

Good question. Not sure it's been made clear yet.
I'd expect them to update with every new update, to encourage collecting the cars in those updates.
But could just as easily update every month, or even every quarter (literally seasonally). Time will tell. Or somebody around here who already knows will give us a definitive answer...

Since PD spent lots of time & money on the new circuits it probably won't take more than a month until Sophy is ready on the new F1 circuits.
Even though 3PO and 2.1 are different, I’m expecting to see a wave of SOPHY compatibility with cars and tracks. Not sure how soon because some cars were removed from car compatibility. However, a large list of new SOPHY cars and tracks just might be one of the best updates we’ll get.

When you toss the unofficially supported cars into a Sophy one make, they work REALLY well. I wonder if PD nerfs the cars somewhat before allowing Sophy support.

IF they do, I hope they stop.

Cheers ladies and gentlemen, and a happy new year!

With the recent introduction of the F3500-B and engine swaps for the F3500-A and -B, it now appears possible to create a pretty accurate Formula 1 grid of the 1990/1991/1992 seasons. Has anyone compiled a list of which of these two car models with which aero parts and which engines best represents the respective real cars of the 1991-ish F1 season?
