Funny that you mention it, the first FTO I ever saw IRL was on a school trip as well (to England in 7th grade). I had only known the car from Gran Turismo before.Yeah, the seat colours are true to the real car, which is nice.
I also added the 3-spokes. The first one I ever saw (school trip to Spain, a few months before the original GT was announced) had them.
It may be a small detail, but I think it's a welcome additon to GT7, it helps make it feel liek a more whole game, despite Driveclub doing it years ago (yes its true) lol, and I love how Andrew highlighted in his article about how diferrent cars react to different conditions, I wonder if anyone can check how the dirt would behave in heavy wet long distance races? This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:
Gran Turismo 7 Spec III Finally Lets Cars Get Filthy Dirty
A quiet change to Gran Turismo 7, instituted in the recent 1.65/Spec III update, has made the game the dirtiest it has ever been — and we don’t mean in the Daily Races...
I know it's long, but I uploaded this just so anyone wants to check AI behavior in Power Pack, specifically in European Oldtimers around Sardegna. Lots of X's, lots of fun. However I can't compete without picking the Alfa (zero chili), and even with it I have a tough battle. Anyway I'm a very regular driver, so...
Really a lot of fun, at least for me. Got me sweating by the end.
Just the two I wasn’t sure of. Tokyo is only just above the car. I thought Route X did get pretty high. T2 at CGV is the bottom shot.Ok I know I’m not bugging.. I was like damn when did it let us go that high.. Now I’m going back to all the tracks to look around! I’m shocked we can’t view the track in VR, because it’s so detailed.
This is back in August, in the Kei Car Weekly Challenge. It had heavy rain in the middle of the lap.It may be a small detail, but I think it's a welcome additon to GT7, it helps make it feel liek a more whole game, despite Driveclub doing it years ago (yes its true) lol, and I love how Andrew highlighted in his article about how diferrent cars react to different conditions, I wonder if anyone can check how the dirt would behave in heavy wet long distance races?
I cannot do the longer races, as I have yet to buy the power pack, but may try it when I play GT7 later on today.
It actually said "improvements to online racing" nothing about sport mode, and the improvements were to the options for the host in lobbies.By the way. It was stated in september that one of the features of Spec 3 is „Sport mode improvements” i totally missed that now. Is there anything they actually improved here or nothing happened?
Lobbies hadn't had a single improvement since early 2023, so I think these were pretty well-deserved. Ignoring the fact that the lobbies now have a pretty good chance of crashing your game...Kinda annoying that multiplayer lobbies get the cool stuff, but those who enjoy Custom Mode (me included) get little scraps every few updates.
Absolutely hilarious and marvelous. The Espace could actually be easily BoP:ed to fit Gr3 and it feels like actual race car. Here with pro Sophy.

It's the 90 degrees corners and second to last blind corner that feel very unnatural. Also im gona have to agree that the final sector in Abu Dhabi drives as bad as it looks like it would on TV, one of the worse sections of track anywhere in the world.
Yep and then they added adverse camber to a bunch of them to make it even more annoying. It's the 90 degrees corners and second to last blind corner that feel very unnatural.
Maybe they think everyone would get tired of washing their cars all the time? An option toggle would be very nice.I don't understand PD sometimes, they have a car wash feature, they allow your cars to get dirty, but they're cleaned immediately after you leave the venue. Why?? Why not give us a reason to use the damn car wash???? It's right there! Very strange decisions sometimes.
I am tired of many things in this game 😅 not yet by this useless function thoughMaybe they think everyone would get tired of washing their cars all the time? An option toggle would be very nice.
I think PD will add these in later updates, just like they did in the past with circuits like Nürburgring, Catalunya, etc.Has there been anything official on where the other Yas Marina layouts are? All the track, curbing etc is modelled and all they have to do is move some temporary barriers they placed to block them. Could have up to 5 layouts total and the short ones are really fun to drive, shame we don't have them.
Better and different car wash animation would surely attract more prospective customers....I am tired of many things in this game 😅 not yet by this useless function though
Maybe they could make it more immersiveBetter and different car wash animation would surely attract more prospective customers....
Just like in real life, my local car wash giving away air fresheners...
Spec 4 update?
Could you imagine interactive VR2 car wash ?!?!Maybe they could make it more immersive![]()
I almost entirely use auto transmission and this was always a big annoyance for me, braking distances were much shorter when you could mash downshift.1.66 update notes

Maybe polyphony could make these GT Auto things be mini games. I want mini game where I can grab my car and stretch it when doing widebody.Could you imagine interactive VR2 car wash ?!?!
Now you are stretching it... LoL Would be fun side quests, but doubt that's the idea of fun for KazMaybe polyphony could make these GT Auto things be mini games. I want mini game where I can grab my car and stretch it when doing widebody.
Complete with funny noises and hilarious animations that make my driver look like he is humping the car, of course.
