Re: Cobra_UK
I understand your points about the MLRS's etc... in DC they were damn cool, however I think one of the most annoying things in DC were the people how knew exactly where to place the scud launcher on each map and base rape (Battle of 73rd easting??? or something).
The fictional scenario is a bit crap but who cares it probably improves gameplay in terms of more varied equipment and enviroments.
The helicopters are pretty crap to fly I agree, but I disagree BF Vs were better. DCs were the best no doubt about it, they were a challenge but they did what you asked them to.
I disagree about your statements about gameplay, I guess comparing BF2 against CS & DOD I can see it being thought of as luck. But in BF2 theres a crap load of stuff going on which I guess is where you think the luck comes in, which is true, but I think BF2 is easily on par. The dropable medic bags etc I think are great and add a lot to the teamplay, something BF 1942 had very little of. Being Mr. Rambo is a lot harder, not that it stops me from trying (and sometimes succeeding)

It might be like my you need to let BF2 grow on you, at first I wasn't impressed (I'm a big 1942/Vietnam/DC fan) but it grew on me and now I love it. I just wish the choppers were better (and weaker).
I'd be up for putting [GTP] prefix to my name, but it wouldn't mean I'd neccesarily be up for scheduled games etc (I usually play just when it takes my fancy)... would make it easier to spot me though

My characters called AndyPants though not T5-R.
