Online is really starting to tick me off. I can't play on a server for 5 minutes before my comp. out of nowhere restarts.

This wasn't a problem yesterday and that for 5 hours of play until I fired it up for 2nd run. Now my comp. just restarts for no apparent reason.... 👎

I've never had a problem playing online except for when i started. Do you have a router in front of your internet connection? If so, you will need to opening up a large set of ports on it to get it all working properly.

And yes for the movie problem, i just created a new directory in the movies dir and put into it all the files except the intro.bik, menu.bik and menu_loggedin.bik files. Technically you could do without the intro.bik file, but i like to keep it as it's deservedly cool and i like showing it to people. I'm sad like that.

I did, I experimented with the shotguns from engineer and anti-tank

The "root issue that caused it" would be due to a hacker(s) that found a few holes in the Account Server. As stated by the people who did it, they warned EA about the problem via e-mail. EA chose their usual method of attack (avoid the problem(s) rather than solve it) and this is what happened.

I play Engineer a lot so I'm going to pick up the Jackhammer.. 400 more points! I think the Dao is a better gun, but I'm sure over time I'll learn how to be surgical with the hammer also.

I like the jackhammer, if I were to have it i would choose engineer alot more often but if the G4 is available to the assault kit I'm all for that.

I can't access the damn account server! It's been on that "connecting to accound server" for 1hr! I dled the patch from EA and installed it and now this happens. Before that it was fine.

I do this.

Go to Manage Accounts. Go to Retrieve Account. Click on Nickname. Enter info. Then click Retrieve Account. It usually instantly works for me.

That's a lot of points though. I'm only at about 400 points atm. Have to really take care with team killing/damage from now on. Have ran over so many team mates whilst reversing, it's an easy mistake to make, but you lose 8 points for each tk.

I think my first upgrade will be the sniper rifle

Rookie mistake, do not get the M95 Sniper Rifle. The 95 is less accurate, has more recoil, and it's cool trick of shooting chopper pilots/gunners only works 1/3 of the time, unless you are relatively close then I'd say 2/3.

If you want to try any of the weapons, I know an UNranked server that has them unlocked. At the server screen click on Connect to IP - in the IP Address box type MLKclan.com and hit enter.

I got the m95 and it's not bad, but I would recommend something more useful as a first upgrade such as spec-ops or assault.

Depends entirely on the level.

Some levels are good for sniping, so i'll snipe. Others are not, so i'll get into a squad and use any of the other classes.

Some levels are rubbish and you basically have to keep spawning as an antitank trooper all throughout the round because there's just a constant onslaught of armour.

I love using the medic class whilst in a squad, feel like you're actually taking proper part in the battles when you're running around giving health packs and difribbing people.

I only touch the engineer if our home base has been atttacked and we've lost radar or artillery etc.

Assault and Spec are just great for all round killage. (I think i've decided to unlock the Assault rifle as the M95 isn't actually any more powerful than the US sniper rifle.)

Basically, i'll use any class And it shows at the end of the round. Get into the top 3 and it shows everyone what classes you used, i usually have at least 4 different ones shown

Now I really want to like this gun and whilst I once had some success with it at sniping on one map, most of the time (even when sniping) it is completely useless, inaccurate and no damage. I really want to like this gun, but I find even the AK-47 more accurate

With the recent EA 'unlock mess-up' I tried out all the different unlocks. I think I'll be getting the auto shotgun for the anti-tank class, which I always end up being on most maps. The laser guided missle is quite satisfying to use I find, especially when firing infront of a vehicle/helicopter and then homing it in.

The G60? and G60C? will probably be after that Both were pretty awesome.

Hmm or I could stick to the pistol as its better than most weapons it seems anyway!

I personally like the MEC's Anti-take weapon. (2nd weapon)
Not very fast, but deadly up close.

Ok I was having fun and all the server switched me. Great. I don't like it but great. Someone got in the tank I was using and I said get over here and give me a ride ((I was first in score)) and he said walk ***** so I said **** you and then they kicked me. Now I would nice and happy if the stupid dev team didn't MAKE YOU SWITCH TEAMS. God it's annoying. Don't they think their might be some rivalry set in once you play 3 round against the team your forced to play on? People like that kick you because they were doing good make me sick.

1. The L85A1 is one of the most accurate guns in the game and IRL. I also have it in the game. If you can't snipe with it, you don't know how to shoot.

2. The Anti-Tank weapon (DAO-12) isn't auto, it's semi-auto. The Engineer unlock (Jackhammer) is full auto.

3. There is no G60 or G60C in this game. There is a G3 and a G36C however.

Goodness how can I speed up my ranking progress? I mean I've gotten many first place scores in rounds and it painfully crawls ever so slowly up.

You should be a medic. You get a bucketload of points and medals if you're good at it. It takes a little skill, though.

Man, i hate how freaking buggy the game is, even with that "patch." The menu itself has countless problems. Today while i was playing, the game even recognized an enemy as someone on my team. I was shooting him because his name was in red, but it didn't do anything, and he couldn't hurt me either.

No, I found my kit. Anti-Tank. I like it alot. I got a medal for anti-tank after awhile. So I'm sticking to that. But I'm not unlocking it's weapon. It's horrible. And my rank progress bar sky-rocketted. It's over halfway there and today it was just a quarter there. I have been a medic before and I have racked up points but seems someone else does better. Once I unlock the L85A1 I'll be a medic. So Is that your chosen kit Giancarlo? A medic?

I've got awards for medic, antitank, sniper and assault so far. Got my anti tank award after hitting a sniper with the rocket Love using the rocketlauncher as anti infantry, very effective.

Gonna be getting my 1st unlock soon, how good is the medic weapon? Torn between that and the assault weapon atm.

Kubra Dam - Strike at Karkand - Mashtur City. If you can use a tank/apc effectively on the first two maps, 100+ point games are commonplace. The secret to Mashtur is being on the USMC side, and being in the BlackHawk.
