Did you guys spend anytime playing offline before online or did you jump right into online play? I'm embarrassed at the fact I haven't even tried it online yet, just haven't had the time.

Played offline for about a week and then thought i'd try it online. Had the same experience with CS: S. Was wary at first about how fun it would be playing against others online, but it really is just awesome fun You get tempted into spending ages online though, it's always just one more game, i don't get that feeling offline.

I set up my xfire screename, it's roaddogg33j. I play as holyc0w in BF2.

Ok, somehow I lost my points and I went back to First Class Private and had 998pts. But now i'm Lance Corp and got my G3. Anybody know how many points till Corporal?

Dayum. Anywho I love the G3! Just one problem with it is not enough ammo in the clips or enough clips.

I played for almost 5 hours, and i still have another third of the bar to get to Lance Corp. Man, this is hard! But i can't wait to get that 750 rounds per minute Special Ops gun!

Man, my online likes to vary....
I mean, sometimes when I start a server, comp. restarts....
Then sometimes, nothing happens at all until the server starts switching maps fast.

I got 300 points in one sitting which was like 3hrs. yesterday, Giancarlo. Try going to only EA servers. That's where I normally go. So I need 10,600 global points for corporal?

Yeah Corporal is nuts. Loads of points, i don't think i'm gonna try to get there, just let it happen. Probably get there by the end of the year.

Anyone choose the Engineer unlock? That thing looks insane; even the description is cool as hell.

Jackhammer is awesome it's true, but in comparison to the other unlocks, you're probably not gonna do that well with it.

I play at my uncle's house. I have no clue about unlocks and stuff, but I just hop online and play as either a medic, support, assault, or special ops. I used to like snipers like in the Gulf of Oman and stuff, but their use just faded so quick for me. the more maps I play, the more I find them useless.

Hopfully I will be able to start playing the game between these dates:

17th-24th Aug 05 folks.

But by the time I am on holiday it will be 7-8 weeks since I have been waiting to play it and counting.

Single player is 16 player maps.
Mod adds 32 bots on 16 player map.

But don't download unless you really where it is supposed to go.
The directions for it do not install extra bots.
