Well as you know I run my game "smoothly" on Low I set my settings to everything high and created a local server and I really didn't lag that bad. Hopefully I didn't damage the thing.

What are you talking about?
I hope the 1.2.1 fixes my CD key issues. :\ Otherwise I might have to *gasp* buy it.

I have absolutly no sympathy for you, you didnt pay for it, so I dont care at all if it works for you or not. It should definetly not be in a game developers list to make sure his patches allow cracked versions to be run. If you can afford a system to run BF2 you can afford the game

Well my card is a XFX GeForce FX5200 PCI 256MB.

So if I want an enjoyable gaming experience I play online at Low settings so I decided to see how far I could push it on single player.

Yeah you're right.

I've gone back to CS though, BF2 was alright while it lasted. There's a lot less people whining about things there, and it's not $100 (Why is it still 100? I would buy BF2 if it was 50).

I have my fair share of um... games that i aquired :sly:

, but for games i want to play online i always buy, just not worth the hassle to get round all the new age protection (GTLegends, NFSU, BF2) etc. And if the games good enough to get 100+hours of play from me, the game developers deserve my money.

Guys BF2 looks lush on HDTV, even when you set it to 1080i through the NVidia settings. If you guys really want I can get some photos of it being run through HDTV.

What? You mean 1.2 patch didn't fix everything and made BF2 finally worth playing? There's still problems? Well 1.2 was supposed to be soon after 1.12 and it took 6 months. You got to wait for another patch now? Oh wait it's a hotfix. Hahaha :lol:

, you BF2 fans are suckers for punishment. BF2 active player numbers are steadily dropping, even after this new patch. BF2 has peaked and now it's dying. And there's still issues with it. :ouch:

I'm sure that by the time there's only about 100 people playing BF2 they'll fix it. :yuck:

I've been playing and enjoying the game since the original retail release. I don't have any signifigant problems with the way BF2 plays and end up having fun 90% of the time. It ain't broke for me.

Are there things I wish were different? Sure. Are they a "big deal"? Not really. For everything BF2 gets wrong, it gets about a dozen right. For my money, I'm not gonna spend much time worrying about the problems. People still die when I shoot them.

I've personally been playing it more since the patch and the two addons that are approaching are most definitely welcome regardless of the small fee they are charging for them.

Well one BIG problem is there's a glitch with the Humvee TOW where if you use the TOW as in fire a shot it makes the whole server crash. :scared:

So maps with the Humvee TOWs in them have been removed from rotation.

I never have had a problem after any source updates. Well mabe 2 updes have been screwed up but thats it, Valve has really straight forward with sounter-strike.

Well, EA just has a way of eliminating a problem and starting up a new one. Like the noob toobs are almost pretty much nerfed as I play in karkand and havent been killed by a noob toob NEARLY as much as I did pre-1.2 but now that claymores can't kill friendlies unless they are near the enemy that detonates them, it's the new whore weapon. In Warlord (SF) there are on average at least 8 claymores littering the "lobby" as I call it in the TV station. It's ridiculous, and EA needs to put the claymores back the way they were.

I hate claymores, thats why i like to snipe, or use my heli skills wich don't exsist. Being in a jet is also fun, just to crash into tanks, and helis

and sometimes when i join a server and have a ping of 47 or somthing nice and low it says that i have been vote kicked.... and i havnt even been able to spawn , i hate waiting to be spawned takes way to much time >.<

The claymores are only a noobtactic, I agree. But, it's nice not getting punished for some idiot thinking it was a powerup and running towards it, causing a tk. That's the main reason why I like it.

Yeah it's fun 'n all when you're the one doing so. But when you get repeatedly killed by a claymore it gets annoying.

Well, there's positives and negatives to the uber claymore thing, even you must admit.

I'm quite happy, considering I've got my Vet. Support Combat, Vet. Resupply, and Air Defense Ribbon today.

Ok Chaps. My third unlock is coming up real soon. Any suggestions?

I have already unlocked the Spec Ops and Medic gun. I was thinking about the M95, although i don't use sniper at all, the increased power and ability to shoot pilots would be good.

What exactly is the DAO? Does it replace the rocket launcher?

Any suggestions would be great.

The DAO is an semi-automatic shotgun (12 Rounds) it replaces the MP5. The G3 is a great gun too and the PKM is more accurate since 1.2
