And yeah, shame there wasn't more people. I got your second invite Minus but just the 2/3 of us was getting boring so I left.

Crap, did I totally miss it? I won't get home until 4PM (GMT-7) at the earliest. Either way I'll be up all night playing. Probably literally.

you didnt really miss much mate,
only 3 of use were playing
think lots of users been having connection problems tonight

if every wants to we can have a game tomorrow night
around 8pm or 9pm (Gmt) ill host it, it seemed to play ok with me as host
all the people that wanna play
just add Hydro2k to your friends list and ill add you

Did you set everything up in the voice devices stuff? setting the output/input to USB mic? I heard you for a minute, so that probably isn't the thing.

yeah i set it up in the xmb but i cant hear other people,
i might try putting the input on my headset and output as normal
i couldnt hear you intill i unplugged it
strange thing is i tested it on my pc after the game and it works fine
can talk and hear other people so i dont know why it wont work
in the setup screen i got it on
output=logitech Usb - Input=Logitech Usb -Vol 1
is that how it should be?
ill have a test later and see if i can fix it :)

think it might have a broken wire as its not working on the pc today lol
mic is still working ok
ill have to rewire it sometime in the week

What's the difference between the "Game of the Year" edition and the regular one.

Yes. Both private and online. Online will likely have lag if playing with US or UK players. The GOTY has three additional maps, plus another small map. Don't know what else is different. The maps are a 10 dollar (US) download if you don't get the GOTY edition. I wouldn't expect any differences between the various versions seeing as the online matches have pwople from different regions.

Yes you can play games with people from any region and anyone in your friend list.

Try and get the GOTY edition which has the extra 4 online maps for free 👍

No I don't think there are any differences.

Im still holding out till the maps are free on PSN, probably when COD5 comes out! :lol:

Well Robin technically you could get them for "free" using the account info of a friend who has already downloaded them, I'm pretty certain you already know that though. Apart from that I'm guessing it will be quite some time before Activision/IW decides to not sell them. Just thinking that is not the kind of precedent they want to set for future content.

I recently played a match and a guy on the other team had 186 kills. :eek: I have a (poorly taken) pic I'll post up in a bit.

I told you it was poorly taken. (I had to quickly get the camera out and snap a pic before it took me back to the lobby :lol:)



And this was probably the highest difference between 1st and second place I've seen :eek::

with a little bit of help from the chopper

like once every week we could have a private match
rotate the game modes and maps each week
just need to know if enough people are up for it
and what would be the best day/time
(thursdays are good i think, everyone is to busy at weekends and friday night is party night)
let me know what you all think :)

Yea we've done this a few times, we all used to play CoD4 all the time, but with GTAIV and MGS4, many of us have kinda forgot about it. Ive been trying to get back into it though.
 
Wow, I've yet to break the 1000 point barrier on Shipment. I've had something like 940 before though. :ouch:
 
I'll play a COD4 night, I've been playing GTAIV and want to get back into this (my brother plays alot), so it would be fun to see how rusty my skills are at COD.

and i thought i would get shot up but 4 of the other team just slowly walked by and
moved past me and didnt even look so i jumped up knifed one and shot the other 3 lol
then the host ended the game :( i think i upset them

When playing on killhouse with a bunch of queens i use this tactic because it works so well. I found it works really well behind the walls where you spawn because there are usually a few bodies just laying there. I will either lay down there all alone or lay with a dead body and people just run up and dont even give you a second look:) You would be amazed at how long it works too, i did it an entire game once just to see if they were dumb enough to keep coming over there and not at least popping the bodies....i came in 1st. Sad.

What's the fastest way you guys get headshots? I'm going through assault rifles and it's taking a loooooong time.

Having done this I can say there isn't really an easy way.

The only way I could do it was by pure luck or, to reduce the amount of kills you make, to camp somewhere where you know people tend to camp and try and place a shot into their heads. A great example when I was using the MP44 was on Backlot in that building where the mounted machinegun is. They sometimes snipe up there or use the MG, so I jumped on top of a car on the opposite end of the map so I can barely see over the wall and carefully put a shot into his head. Quite satisfying. :D

I personally found the AK and the MP44 the hardest guns to do due to the recoil. The MP44 is a real pain to use...
 
What level are you now? I was going to suggest get the MP44 over and done with but since you just prestiged you won't have it unlocked...
