Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare

I'm thinking about getting a Call of Duty game, should i get this or World at War?

Having played both I would argue that MW has better gameplay online, which I presume is where you would spend most of your time, everyone does. World at War is good online and the story is nice. Either game you choose it will be great.

With you not playing either one i would say go for COD4. WaW is ok, but i like 4 better. Now if you love glitching then you should just jump into WaW...

I just bought this bought this the 13th and I'm really into the game. (I'm a huge car guy) Some game modes like Domination and Search and Destroy are really fun.

I got soo annoyed yesterday. My highest kill streak is 16 and yesterday I was just poppin all asses with the M40A3 acogd. I got to a streak of 10 with that rifle whilst no camping, you cant camp and get that streak, I was running around and then I get a message saying my friends are ready to play GTA with me, so now Im under pressure to finish quick so I kill some more people, I spot a sniper and boom he beat me to the kill. The result is a streak of 14...damn.

Just to let you know, that was on overgrown.

Do you still get lag quite abit Legendary724? I find that if I get abit of lag, knifing people becomes alot lot easier. Although its hateful for anything else.

I only lag on a server far from Australia, knifing is easy without lag.

lag is just so bad when trying to play with some of the peeps from here. The ones i have tried to play with are just so far away from me its for sure there is going to be lag..

Don't worry I have trouble to, trying to play with CF today was rather annoying, everytime I started doing well i'd drop a bar or 2 randomly and be a sitting duck. That was if we found a game we both got 3 or more bars...

Just after CF went had the stupidest game of sabotage, I joined about 5 minutes into it and found the other team camping with the bomb in THEIR OWN spawn point. The stayed there for the remaining time and through sudden death which forced a draw, why would you do that honestly? My team was also taking a hammer prior to my arrival but i managed to take MVP despite joining late with 37-6 using my usual weapons at different points, MP5, M16 and R700.

Now up to 2.19 Managed it on a good game of Bog with my R700, notable moment are a 7 streak of headshots, a double headshot and taking the final kill of the game (in a Ground War on Bog it is kinda rare)

Yeah, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is supposed to be released sometime near the end of the year.

Its likely that MW2 will be out before GT5 so no too much to worry about. In fact it will keep me from tearing my hair out in the upcoming months before the release of GT5....hopefully

Yesterday was more epicness. I decided to go and no scope the good ol Vacant map. I go a collateral down the hall way (no scope) and this is where I need to describe my awesomeness.

The hall way where everyone camps generally at the end of it (just out of the big PC room), well the other team must of been noobs or something but a lucky grenade made its way in there killing 4 members of the other team. It was so insanely awesomely epicly enjoyable.

I tend to get either amazing starts and crappy endings, or crappy starts and amazing endings.

I don't know what's wrong with me-I broke that trend.
CF, I got to 17-3-0, when I got killed by a grenade that bounced off the corner of a building.

I believe it was Vacant.

Sounds about right for Vacant, lots of jammy grenades tend to fly around.

I then went on to get something like 45-12-8, in sabotage.

With plants etc. I got a lot of points.

Good job, better that you actually made the effort to plant the bomb.

Unlike some people who get the bomb then run backwards with it... worst example I saw was an entire team on Wetwork sabotage who got the bomb and ran to their own spawn point ( the control room ) and camped out the entire game right through into extra time and through that as well into a draw. I joined mid way through this ridiculous game but I landed over 50 kills with less then 5 deaths thanks to this stupid tactic, I just didn't bother trying to get it back because of the mass camping, instead I picked them off from afar.

What's really funny is when you tell everyone when you play Domination not to capture flags-that way, it's an infinitely long TDM, albeit with a lower kill score.

Damn waggles that was fun on so many levels. I cannot begin to describe how much awesomeness todays session had.

The new format for GTP private matches is pistols and claymores only and headshots only mode.

It's just that epic.

Rabia, you would have had infinite amounts of fun.

Then we changed to shotguns, same sort of idea (headshots only), and then sniper rifles.

But next time C4 instead of claymores.

Easier to hide and more dynamic.

My server was fun times. I got on a 14 kill streak.
