Well that game was perfectly fair. 4v6 on wetwork and the other team had a helicopter almost nonstop. And we were getting spawn killed so bad at the end. 240 to 750 in team deathmatch.

Had great fun on Crossfire with a few of you guys last night, sorry about the lack of talking my headset was playing silly buggers. I also apologise unreservedly for forgetting I had the martyrdom perk set, when only four of us were on it wasn't a problem, but I think I accidentally blew someone up. I also know I shot at least one of my own team mates, that however was just a daft trigger happy moment (late at night, a few beers and tired are not always a good combo).

Hope to be back on tonight and a friend of mine will be over, so if we do get into a match please kill him gently.

Oh and I'm not sure who I killed, but I managed a shot the entire length of the street on Crossfire with an M16 + ACOG, I was well chuffed with that shot, I do love that combo.

Me, Icelt and Ceiling had some good matches last night. When there was around 6 of us around 9:30ish at Crossfire FFA my friend was playing and that would explain my getting killed non-stop.

And I fully agre with you on the M16+ACOG. On the right maps it's a killer.
The usual wobbling of the sight is smaller on this weapon compared to any other with an ACOG, which makes it (for me), the best one to use the ACOG in. Great combo, especially coupled with the Steady Aim.

Well I payed him back fer ya, across the long street with a RDS M16 and just about blind. I knew he was on the 2nd floor somewhere but couldn't get a clear visual so I just picked what I thought was a nice spot and pulled the trigger, followed immediately by the little white target hit x and "icelt killed scaff." Quite pleased for that brief moment :D

Serious question here, what did you guys (f1d-spectating, scaff, wall jogger, kenji & ceiling) think of the 20+min TDM on crossfire? Myself, even though it took awhile to finish, I really kind of enjoyed the extended play time. Just curious whether ya'll liked it or not.
 
I loved it, very fun and there was enough time for me to rack up some kills.

I see a few people are on, anyone up for a GTP match?

(P.S., G.T. has a 2.38 K/D ratio :p)

Wow, i'm surprised, i'm watching my K/D ratio and its SLOWLY going up! Last night raised it like, .12!!! I had a **** load of matches in high 20's and low 30's of TDM...
 
I just had my first proper 0 deaths match with Ebiggs. This was on Crossfire with a G3 and M16. I was a little conservative at the end though since I wanted to finish with that. :p

Edit: And now 19-0 on Overgrown... :p

Edit: Oh and that sneaky knife kill I done on you Ceiling_fan. I was actually prone right next to you without knowing for at least 10 seconds while I reloaded!

I unlocked the last sniper rifle (50 cal) today and I also unlocked the ACOG scope for it. :crazy: I'm pretty disappointed with the acog though. I was hoping it would let me get headshots diagonally across Overgrown. :p

My K: D is improving slightly too. On Wednesday my deaths outnumbered my kills by nearly 2,000. Now it's 1,800...

Sorry to hear that, Picc.

As for the ACOG, it doesn't have more zoom than the standard scope on sniper rifles, it has considerably less.
Which is one of the reasons why most people hate the ACOG; it wobbles so much with so little magnification...
If the standard sniper scopes had a comparable 'wobbling', they'd be useless.

Oddly, no. It was a Headquarters game. I just camped out with the sniper rifle, caught a couple of headshots on the fly and a good old Claymore to the face - and the ensuing helicopter/airstrikee combos. I found it quite surprising in a non-Hardcore game, with a Dragunov, to get so many one-shot kills.

And it's not like I had Stopping Power - I was using UAV Jammer.


I'm mainly using whatever combo I can get most points for. Currently levelling up the MP5 - only a few more kills to get 1000XP (and I got a 24:3 this morning at Pipeline on HQ).

Probably back to the old Barrett/Claymore/Stopping Power/Deep Impact (or UAV Jammer/Last Stand for Hardcore) when I get there, and either G36 or P90 for close-quarters games.
 
Famine, what games do you usually play? HQ and HTDM? I did get some of your invites before but the server was full each time. If you're (or anyone else) on later I'll try and invite you into a few if you want. 👍

Actually I don't think I've ever played a ranked Hardcore game on the PS3 yet...

I'm mainly doing HQ right now to rattle through the points and up my Kill-Death ratio. I prefer, by far, Hardcore games though.

I may do some Search & Destroy/Sabotage games a little later, to hit up the XP Challenges for those, but you'll mainly find me in HQ or HDTM.

Seeing as Famine mentioned the G36 there, I remember a couple of weeks back someone mentioning it would give it a try on Hardcore matches.
But I can't remember who it was...

Anyway, what's everyone's take on it? G36C on Hardcore matches, I mean.
I find it incredibly useful, so much better than an M4.
Outside Hardcore mode, the G36C is utterly useless, in my opinion.

I wasnt the one you were suggesting that to, but I decided to give it a try, and it is really good. Its really accurate and has good range. Perfect for HTD.

On another note, I have been playing some old school FFA, and its a lot of fun.
