Well it doesnt come out till the 29th anyway if i remember correctly. And surely jury duty wont last till midnight if its a midnight launch.

No i know, but being in a room for 9 hours, potentially, is going to just suck the life out of me.

I won't be doing the midnight launch anyway. Just not that avid. :lol:
 
Right, concerning CoD4 and the meet up.

I *almost* have all my coursework complete so in essence I should be able to attend unless my Dad has some reason to be argumentative with me so I'd say put me down on the confirmed list unless I say something else against it 👍

"huge match I'm going to be part of on Friday." He let me borrow it but I don't have it right now, he'll probably give it to me tomorrow. Put me on the "confirmed" list if you want..

We might not even be able to get into any Ground War games, might have to stick to private matches. :lol:

It would be awesome if we could somehow do organized stuff, like Fight Club or something. :D Everybody circle while 2 of us knife fight?

...Hehe sorry, that's something i really can't wait for in GTA IV.

I just watched Fight Club yesterday! Best movie ever ^_^

Private matches are fine though. I don't think we could actually get a groundwar game with an 18 person party because there would have to be more than one team.

edit: Just played a match on shipment and went 26-12. That's pretty good for me. I got two airstrikes and a heli.

My best game ratio-wise there was 90/30 HQ match.
 
I really can't wait for Friday, it will be really fun since GTP has a lot of outstading COD players. 👍

@Wallrunner: Why won't you use the GTP clan tag? Are you more familiar with PSNHome?

@celing_fan: Ninety kills, 30 deaths? Wow, my best in shipment is 56 kills with about 30 deaths. Hehe..
 
@Giancarlo, I was going to keep it in a private server anyways, to much lag in GW.

Anyway, what game mode should we play? I was just thinking 18-player FFA would be fun, and incredibly hard.

I play domination mostly. I've gotten 60-50 before but 26-12 is my best k/d ratio. I used a P90 with a silencer to cut down recoil. For perks I had frag x3, double tap, and steady aim(looking down the sights on shipment is for suckers >_<)

We should play some team deathmatches too not just free for all. Also domination or head quarters. Domination would be pretty intense with the fight one of the flags getting up to 9 vs 9.

FFAs and TDM sound good, maybe even HCTDM. I personally dislike Domination, but I would play it, it's not my favorite. I prefer modes like HCS&D or Sabotage, Old-School FFA and others.
 
I used to like S&D until one of my friends started playing it exclusively and got so good he would kill half the other team every round leaving nothing for me but one of the random grenades from the other team at the beginning of the match >_>

I agree 100%. Plus it means, we can have more fun killing other people as well as working together on teams "strenghthing out friendships" or something like that...........
 
A'ight, we will play mostly TDM, with a few HQ/Domination matches thrown in, aswell as some FFA, and mix some up with HC, I'm not going to do old-school mode though, 16 people + limited weapons = not fun IMO.

And Remember, 2 spots left!

EDIT: The Map pack has also been confirmed for April 24th.

On Xbox it was $10 right? That's about £5? Or €6?

I was afraid the map pack would come out so late. I'm going to be way too caught up in GTA IV just 5 days later to consider paying $10 for something that should be free.
 
I bet that if you wait like a month it will be free although £5 isn't too bad to pay if its the same price as on the 360.... in all fairness the map pack should be free seeing as its been such a long time coming...

I would happily pay for new mission packs because COD's missions were excellent. Please infinity ward extend the story!!! :indiff:

It'd be better if they were priced a little bit cheaper like £2.99 or even £1.99 but the likely hood of that is slim....
 
When exactly is this going to be? I might be down for a quick skirmish but I have a lot of work to do.

Not counting finals, I will be done with all college work next week and will have plenty of time to CoD till my eyes wither.

lol We live in the 21st century and we all collectively cannot work out what the time will be in the UK! :sly:

We are currently GMT+1 so its 5:22pm here which is 12:22pm EST

So 3pm EST will be 8pm GMT+1... I think...:sick:

I should, almost definitely be there for a few matches. Around 9 o clock Irish time, which is the same as UK time but still confusing, what do you mean Robin UK time is GMT +1 is it not just GMT??
