I go on multiplayer, Win my first ever race. From then on I haven't been able to get past the first corner without being punted. After the first race I got from a default yellow collision rating to green. Know I'm back to yellow. How fairs that? I kind of feared this but it looks like a perfectly good game will be spoiled by hoards of clueless imbeciles once more. It annoys me so much, I bought this game mainly for multipayer and its just pointless now. I can deal with dirty racing (even though its not my own style) but when you can't get past the first turn without being hammered into it gets a bit redicilous. Ill still get my moneys worth out of it due to private lobbys but its still a shame.

What place are you starting in? Usually I'm starting in the back so I just hang back. I enjoy multiplayer, but there will be those donkeys who turn it into a crash fest.

If it's Steam (or any other DD), you can't resell it if the key is already redeemed.

Someone has already modded the PC version to add a cockpit camera. It's not great but it's better than nothing!

Is it better than the black tape outline like in GT5 standards? :lol: I am still insulted GRID 2 removed the interior view. This was a purchase for me until I heard that.
Edit: Oh I see the video above. A little better but not much.

Yeah, it's not great but I'd still choose it over the default options. I reckon there will be a cockpit DLC though...

Out of curiousity, is this game running at 30 FPS or 60 for you folks on the consoles?
 
For anyone who buys the game new, but didn't prouder, can you tell me if it comes with any of the DLC? There are many games that tease that the DLC is only for preorder, yet every copy has it. Sorry if this has already been brought up.

You can purchase it from the psn store with all the dlc. If you buy a disc copy from the store you get the VIP pass which comes with the Dodge Challenger, Honda NSX, and one other car.

In my country there is a "Premium Edition" which includes all the pre-order DLC that is going to be available tomorrow on local stores so yeah.

Can I get some advice on how to optimize my Logitech DFGT for Grid 2 on PC (Steam)? Currently, I'm struggling a little. It acts as if my wheel is a controller.

Finnaly unlocked the Chevy Cruze in singleplayer and it is by far my most favorite car in the game. It handles like the old Lacetti.

I may be wrong here, but I think its at 60fps.. hell, its fast enough to make me think 60.

I mooched some play time on my BF's console & I have to say the singleplayer AI gives better competition than the god awful players online. They could barely drive the grip type cars let alone the drift ones. I just can't understand how people don't know how to brake. Every single time they overshoot every corner & slam into the wall.

Now offline the AI is on my ass passing me when I mess up ever so slightly. That's damn funner than beating real humans by 30 seconds all the time. 👍

That's how most are. Lately, I've found a pretty clean room, but I left to upgrade my car. Plus a few of us on here have been racing in private rooms.

It does feel more like 30fps to me. There is a clear difference to me compared to gt5 framerate wise.

The key to win an online race on a real circuit seems to be:
Start > move aside and let everyone pass > brake on time for the first corner > hit the apex nicely and pass the entire field while they're hanging in the barriers

I thought Codies said there would be measures put in place to stop griefing in the first corner?
 
I went to buy this at my local supermarket and they were charging £40, whereas I can buy it on Amazon for £28!! Screw that.

Why is there such a hig price difference between online retailers and supermarkets? Did codemasters strike a deal with them or something?

Why do you think there will be a cockpit view DLC? They purposely planed to delete the cockpit view from the beginning. I don't see a cockpit happening at all for Grid 2. They specifically deleted it from GRID 1.
 
Well the game release was delayed till June 18th on my country, only 7 units in stock. Who planned this s.hit on release day? :grumpy:
