Very sad to hear of the passing of Bray Wyatt.

Only dipped in every now and then to watch wrestling these days but it was always clear he was a special character and person.

Rest in peace and much love to his family as well as the wider wrestling community.

Shocking news.

I have been feeling pretty numb about it all day, still can't really believe its true.

He was absolutely one of a kind, very creative and had an aura about him. Seeing the reaction to this tells you everything you need to know about him as a person.

Rest in peace and much love to Jojo and their children.

I'm also thinking of everyone who will be involved with the Smackdown show tonight, can't be easy.

Reports are everything planned on Smackdown has been scrapped. Probably going to have a very long tribute to Bray Wyatt.

A lot of advertised stuff has been scrapped, there is obviously a lot of upset so people have been told that they don't have to take part if they don't want to.

Its been reported that Cody Rhodes and Braun Strowman have flown in for the show .

Just seen the show, kudos to everyone involved.

They had a 10-bell salute at the start for both Terry and Bray. Erik Rowan and Braun Strowman were there for it then they played a great video package for Bray. It was mostly about bray last night as they showed some of his career highlights through the night, there was a Terry Funk tribute by Cody Rhodes though and they had a 'Terry Funk hardcore tag team match' between Brawling Brutes and The Street Profits (it was perhaps the tamest hardcore match you'll ever see though!) and the main event was LA Knight v Finn Balor which might seem random but Knight was Bray's last opponent and Finn was The Fiend's first opponent.

It didn't really matter about the other things but one advertised match did take place and that was Iyo Sky's first title defence against Zelina Vega which she won. There was no Bloodline and it was quite weird without them. WWE got it spot on last night.

A few wrestlers got Bray Buzzard tattoo's after the show. Karrion Kross, Braun Strowman and Shotzi were among them.

Pretty momentous day for Wrestling today, AEW will have its All In show at Wembley Stadium in London. over 81,000 expected to be there, not just a massive show for AEW but for Wrestling in general.

notes that CM Punk and Jack Perry got into a physical altercation at All In

Oh No GIF by The Maury Show

Nobody involved yet is looking the best.

Jack for apparently instigating over a spot he wanted to do a few weeks back involving non-gimmicked glass and Punk being the middle man talking him out of it, Punk for not de-escalating and his apparent general personal issues with some talent on Collision and purportedly being seen as untouchable.

Both parties reputedly suspended for the time being. Not a good look for the company.

Man, Wyatt merch is near non-existent in the WWE Shop. Hope they restock by the time the Supershow comes to my city next month.

At this stage CM Punk might as well be released. This is the 2nd time he has caused an incident after a big event, abusing his status as a big draw.

How much more can he abuse it before he's just not worth the hassle anymore. Not like WWE getting him would do them any favours.

I haven't watched WWE in a while. I heard Rick Flair is going back in wrestling? Durn he's old for his age. Thought he would retire at some point.

WWE Undisputed tag title match has been made for Payback on Saturday, Owens and Zayn will defend against Balor and Priest of Judgment Day in a steel city street fight, that's six matches for Payback and a Grayson Waller Effect segment with Cody Rhodes so I can't see anything else being made for the show.

There was a few nice touches for Bray during the show last night, Seth had a Fiend side plate on his title belt during his promo and said 'Yowie Wowie, welcome to Monday Night Raw', the Falls Count Anywhere match between Becky Lynch and Zoey Stark was the main event and Becky was looked very emotional after and held up her Bray armband, after the show went off air she told a story of how Bray helped her during a TLC event.

Elsewhere after the Miz did a great job impersonating The Rock and John Cena in the past he stepped up again to give a great LA Knight impersonation! Gunther v Chad Gable IC title re-match has been set for next weeks Raw.

Be weird if thats all the matches for Payback though as almost all of the matches are from Raw. With the US Championship match and LA Knight being the only Smackdown representation.

Well there could be Bloodline stuff, Jimmy Uso returns to Smackdown this week, I think he was meant to be there on Friday but it was cut because of Bray's death.

Speaking of Smackdown it was announced that John Cena's return will see him scheduled for more Smackdown shows, two months worth in fact! Starting from this Friday.

John Cena returns to Smackdown tonight, its been reported that Cena v Cody Rhodes has been discussed during his run, yes please!

Santos Escobar & Rey Mysterio v Grayson Waller & Austin Theory is also on tonight plus Jimmy Uso is back, the latter was meant to happen last week but was cut to make room for the Bray Wyatt tributes.

Payback is tomorrow night.

Minor detail, Robert Roode listing has his name changed back to Bobby Roode.

Hopefully when he returns we can get past that pointless character change he went through (just why did it happen in the first place?)

Here is the Payback card for tonight.

Steel Cage Match.
Becky Lynch v Trish Stratus

United States Championship.
Rey Mysterio (c) v Austin Theory

Grayson Waller Effect with special guest Cody Rhodes

LA Knight v The Miz

Women's World Championship.
Rhea Ripley (c) v Raquel Rodriguez

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship-Steel City Street Fight.
Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn (c) v Finn Balor & Damien Priest

World Heavyweight Championship.
Seth 'Freakin' Rollins (c) v Shinsuke Nakamura

John Cena will host tonight as he announced it last night, he then gave an AA to Jimmy Uso...who rather confusingly now wants back in The Bloodline.

Thats what I was afraid of. You can give Jimmy all the motivation excuse for his actions at Summerslam but if he just comes back anyway it still renders the build up to the match moot and disappointing.

As for CM Punk, reverse of when he left WWE, I won't miss him.
