Think about it, if there is a part of simulation mode where you have to drag race, you will end up racing with a faster car or without a faster car. It's only a better challenge.

That's one thing I don't want in it, it wasn't fun at all in Need For Speed: Underground, why should they waste time on that when they can use that time for better things.

You don't want drift racing in becase it wasn't very good in Need for speed underground, a game that clearly prides itself on it's true to life physics and for having countless hours of being thoroughly tested by real race drivers who afterwards confirmed it was very realistic.

Cars like in GT2, like the HKS R33 and 180SX.

I think cos the vegas drag track is so short PD can put more powerful graphics into that small strech and make everything look alot more realistic compared to the longer tracks........

Wow, you all must really hate NFSU. Am I the only one that enjoyed it? I found alot of fun in customizing my 240 and rx7... I liked the drift and especially the drag modes. Just because it doesnt play like Gran Turismo doesn't mean its not a good game... 💡

I dont know robin. I believe PD put as much detail in the sin city track as they did with any other track. If you ask me, the current best looking track in gt4 is the nurb. Every track looks equally realistic but there are some that will look better than others. Like the Nurb

Look, I highly doubt that I was maiming this thread by making one commect about NFSU (in which, btw, I did mention drag racing...) when quite a few others had done similarly. I was stating an opinion. Then you come along sounding all uppety with your comment about staying on topic. Was it necessary?

There seems to be alot of muscle cars in GT4. I was hoping PD would put more muscle cars in since I saw GT2 have some. But I didn't think they had enough.

That could be a possiblity but so is the 1000 M idea. If you haven't notice yet, GT3 have 400M, 1000M, and Top Speed track. Why do he need to stop the truck to take a picture? Isn't there something call replay. 💡

But you could be right, and since I have no proof and you don't either, this is basically opinion. I think its 1000 M, the SSR should run about that time, if it was in GT3 and you ran it in the 1000M don't you think?

I still think they took the photo while moving. I have no doubt of how well the graphics are in GT4.

And about the wheel graphics thing. If you want them to look good. Gaze at them in the garage that's when the wheels look real...

They should make drag racing a requirement to finish the game. If I gotta frickin drive a Vitz around the Test Course to finish my game, then all of those people who hate drag racing have to drag race to finish theirs.

I don't see how drag racing will be so difficult. I know that if its required it must be quite easy, unless its brackets! You can always get faster car than the AI's.
