F50 still drives beautifully, but otherwise I can kinda see what you're saying.

308 I've only driven on Comfort Mediums where it's a bit of a handful, but I'm sure it'd be fine on Sports. 458 and 430 feel very heavy, 458 actually felt understeery IIRC. F12 had lots of wheelspin and wasn't too enjoyable to drive, but wasn't terrible either. But overall yeah I haven't been that impressed by the brand in this game. At least in terms of being fun to drive. I would expect the F40 to be a load of fun like it was in Sport, but I don't own it yet.

The 430 is lovely to drive (probably my favourite so far) and so is the F40, the 458 is tricky but a fun car to drive, the F50 is a beast as long as you dont slam the throttle out of slow speed corners (it sounds really good too).

Cant wait to get the Enzo and La Ferrari but im still waiting on the invitiations, the game seems hell bent on forcing me to buy the Veneno for some reason (had that invite 3 times now and i dont want it).

The F12 is a difficult car to drive without TC, but that should be expected tbh considering the amount of power it has going through the rear wheels only.

I never drove them with harder tire compounds. I do know if I slap race soft tires on the 458, f50, or Enzo I can finish 5 laps at Dragon Trail sea side right at the 9min mark. With soft race slicks ABS and a notch of TCS these cars handle like they are on rails.

F8 Tributo with praiano setup !!!! real pleasure 😍

The F430, 458, F40 and Enzo are capable and must be driven differently. My fastest lap times in the Ferrari cup are with the Enzo on Sport soft tires and no aero. I dont run aero on the ferraris, I did add aero to the F430 to see whats what.

The F40 is fun once you change the gearing to eliminate most of the lag plus it weighs 2200lbs

The F430 and Porsche GT3 cars are track weapons and are great on tight technical tracks

Is it me or are damn near all the Ferraris the worst and hardest to play in the game. It's like that are all rolling on 195 with tires.
IMO / IME, there are cars that are really forgiving and easy to drive straight out of the box and then there are those that require a little work. Sometimes that's simply a different set of tires or the right mods, suspension tuning, etc. ....and/or an adjustment in how you drive the car.

I have the 308, F12 and the 458 Gr3. I really like all of them but I discovered they each needed tweaking (e.g. sway bar, camber, toe settings, etc.) to make them more fun to drive and effective for me. I also had to tailor my driving. The thing is, factors can change like PP requirements, weather, competition, etc. that then require different adjustments to both tuning and driving.

Some of the Ferraris may be more challenging to drive and set up but that's a big part of the fun IMO. I found the F12 a beast but I was actually able to use it really successfully after I got it dialed in.

....I used the 458 Gr3 for all the GT3 challenges.

mine are fine, are you sure it's not a you problem?

F40 is near undrivable.

But La Ferrari did whoops some cars for me.

The F40 is famously wild irl, in the game stock it's a bit unstable at high speeds and oversteers when cornering at high speed, but nothing that a high wing and some tuning can't fix.

I've tuned mine as close to what I can to the pilot F40 LM (including the livery which people have made on the livery collections), it's incredible.

Learn how to tune, here's great tutorial:

Speaking of ferrari's i do think we need the 488 GT3 EVO added ASAP,

Ferrari is an outdated choice compared to the other GT3 cars on offer (not saying the 458 GR.3 & GR.4 are bad by any means but compared to other manufacturers i feel they are getting left out)

Or they could skip the 488 and add the new 296 GT3 thats been leaked recently or even make their own F8 Tributo GR.3 car

Wondering if people are just throwing sports soft/racing tires on cars and expecting them to magically become easier to drive.

I also wonder if part of that could simply be a fundamental lack of understanding of how certain suspension settings, aero adjustments, etc. have an affect on the handling of the vehicle and / or the player's inputs.

I think GT does a decent job of mimicking real world affects in relation to tuning options. I'm essentially able to apply what I know in real life to suspension tuning, etc. and tweak from there to help dial out unwanted characteristics and dial in desired ones.

Personally, considering it was PDs hope to attract more non-car people to the car culture with this game, I think they should have spent more time with tutorial videos, etc. in this regard. Get people familiar with some of the more basic terms, physics, components, adjustments and effects.

Do you have a 700pp tune for the 430? Please share if so.

Drove the F430 stock and it was great to drive. Same with a 458. The F40 is also a bit tricky but it resembles what it is real life, that it is a wild car that must be tamed, but overall it's also a pleasure to drive.

The F12 Berlinetta is a handful however, and it's a car I'll try to avoid using. It's literally a boat on wheels with too much power.

Used an FXX K on one of the missions and the car was also insanely good aside from a standing start without traction control where I have to be very precise with the throttle and gears.

So no, Ferraris are not bad to drive since out of 5 experiences, only one was bad. I wanted the F50, one of my top 5 favourite cars of all time, but it disappeared on me. I bought the F40 first because it was way cheaper.

The Enzo and F8 have the best brakes, The F430 is a pleasure to drive, The LaFerrari and FXXK are just over kill, The 458 is the just raw, and I don’t like the F12 feel extremely heavy in the front. I missed out on the f40 when the servers went down 😭😭 My favorite Ferrari is the Enzo!

Also worth mentioning is the cost for a widebody kit for this car, its a whooping 100,000 credits.
No idea what they were thinking when they did the prices for the mods.
