Well the interesting thing is that Nik_Makozi (The example I was asking about) managed to finish 6th in Australia (and 21st I think in Asia/Oceania) at the end of this last season, and that was with both Top 24 Superstar races having a x2 and x3 (+2000pts) multiplier (he was still first in Aus, and became 9th in Asia/Oceania after the first T24, despite not being able to participate). The first two T24 races this season have a 1.5 point multiplier, while the last one has a x2.5 (+1000) point scoring system. Also, look at this:

The first Top 24 has the matching done by Driver Ranking, meaning that people with the highest DR (in this case S), can enter, while the other two are just based on Point order, which doesn't specify that the entree in question would need to have DR S.
So technically, if Nik drives fast enough this season, (maybe) he could be in the first 10 of Australia.
That really sucks. I hope it isn't like that, because the driver I'm talking about (and just like in
@Pfei mentioned) would be eligible for a Star Player ranking before the Live events, but after the Final Season, and if they've managed to make the cut (finish in the first 10/2 of their country), then they deserve to go to the Live events.*
* - Yes, I know about the legal problems with age and so on, but if Nik's 18 before the regional final, then there isn't any reason why he can't take part (unless school gets in the way. There's a bunch of exams in October for Year 12 students in Aus, but I'm not sure if they'll coincide with the Live Event).
