Thank you.
Thank you.
hmhFor Nations though, I qualified 9th, finished 7th using the Ford GT LM without stopping.
An Aussie in another Ford GT LM pitted for tyres, and he finished 5th!
One moment that I want to share is that, if you block someone, you have a higher chance to get punted off, as demonstrated by my blocking attempts ending up costing me by getting punted by a Japanese in a Viper. He left the lobby after the race without sorry...
Before that, I watched the Nations T24SS Asia/Oceania region stream by @Sidawg2 and I noticed three oddballs in that race, which are LMP_TLallave, mfrayyan and far_kew_racing, the latter of which I ended up seeing in the 2nd timeslot of the Manufacturer Series. One noted absence is saika159-, who is supposed to represent Hong Kong, but Lallave from the Philippines ended up representing HK instead.
So yeah, if you can't already feel it in my post I really hate myself right now for the abysmal performance and racecraft I've shown.
Thank you for the advice. This is definitely a learning experience for me and I'll look back on this to further improve myself. It's just that I'm really frustrated that I've done things that I would shout and scold other people at for doingDon't beat yourself up about it. Everyone has bad days on the track. All you can do is own your mistakes, apologise to those that you have wronged and learn from it for next time. The biggest mistake would be not learning from the experience.
Thanks. The beetle is the most regular i've found shifting 1/3 to half RPM bar and sparing tires but still at a good regular racing pace.
EDIT: Starting from the pit , 8 laps non stop

What a strange night. Did the 1st slot for the nations and I think it is the strongest field I have been in, was over 2000 points for the winner.
Qualified 12th, picked a couple of places up at the start, and then 1 guy pitted for fuel. That was pretty much it, not much exciting stuff happened - just followed the guy in front so picked up a solid 1100 points. Winner was a guy in a Lexus, think it is just a little easier to drive on worn tyres than the ford gt.
As to the manufacturers, wasn't expecting much as the VW Scirocco being FF meant that it was utter crap through the esses into the back straight. Got 1 average lap in and then got baulked a bit on the fast lap so didn't expect much. Got Pole!
Wasn't much I could do in the race as the 2 cars behind me (Mustang and GT-R) were just too fast down the straights. All I could do was sit behind and hope they made mistakes. There was a GT-86 behind as well but I wasn't as concerned as he had the same issue as me, a lack of speed on the straights. We all got to the pits at pretty much the same time, but the GT-R just saved more fuel and came out 3 seconds ahead. I managed to jump the Mustang and had a 1.5 second lead, until the end of the next lap when I outbraked myself at the 1st corner and let him back into the 1 second window and he got me the next lap.
The GT86 finally managed to get past me with a nice move around the outside of the banked hairpin, so I was in 4th on the last lap but they all had penalties to serve and I had none. Managed to pick up a couple and places, get 2nd and got over 1600 points.
>Enters 8pm Top 24: Gets rejected even though 75k/99 due to it picking literally 3 75k British drivers at RANDOM
>Enters 9pm Nations: Bluescreen on loading
>Enters 10pm Nations: Entire lobby booted on grid, gets 0, literally ending my championship and any shot at a regional final
So yeah, this is over and I'm done, peace out bois
Whereas in Manufacturers I was quite good, but got obliterated by an M4 in turn two, then spent the rest of the race in amongst the most moronic pack of piss-wits the world has ever seen. Literally non-stop barge-passing, and actual deliberate divebombs from two of the drivers. I even pitted a lap early to get out of the way (gained six places that way), but it was to little avail as the guys from 8th-11th were as bad as the guys from 12th-16th.A-ahahahahahahaha Nations.
Qualified 18th, drove a completely clean race, finished 5th. All I did was not crash and not pit (Atenza Gr.3, of course).
Got from 18th to 16th by the time I left turn 1 (two crashes), got from 16th to 10th (six crashes) before the car in front of me pitted, apparently along with everyone else, which put me 6th. Then the leader pitted at the end of the penultimate lap and put me 5th. Slightly sketchy final lap on tyres, but the car chasing me crashed at the final chicane.
No wall scrapes, no cuts, no penalties, no contact, clean race, and 800 points. And I was rubbish.
Well tonight I think has cemented many minds in Europe at least that once this FIA season finishes in 2 weeks, our involvement in the game will drop back dramatically or even finish. Leaving a bitter taste in the mouth even for those who've managed to navigate the trainwreck so far.
The completely random choosing of players with the same DR/SR, I was on the right side of this but that's when my luck ran out. A special T24 rolling start bunched everyone up so any little lag was going to take out many drivers. Sadly I was one of those killed
Then Manufacturers, again great drivers like @TRL LIGHTNING missing out on pure DR related luck. Also, Gr4 should not be being used for top split races. It's a category by it's very nature designed for beginners and the races just descend into one great big fuel saving train. I and everyone else in the midfield lost this fuel saving train when the new T24 rolling start decided to start everyone 12th down at a standstill bumper to bumper...
No idea why we need a mid season T24, all it does is decide the championship at an early stage and makes subsequent rounds pointless. It would be like giving the Top 3 drivers at tomorrow's Belgian GP a 3x points boost. If Hamilton or Vettel were to finish outside the top 3 that would be Championship over and imagine the uproar.
And only letting each team race 1 car at random, so Vettel or Hamilton might not even start the race.No idea why we need a mid season T24, all it does is decide the championship at an early stage and makes subsequent rounds pointless. Fuel saving trains is not a category issue, but a format one. It's like PoDi WANTS that, to artificially make the racing closer.
