That could get any worse if you didn't realise (thankfully the red Fuel Warning text that appears on the screen shows up).If anyone watched an EMEA Nation's stream like @Tidgney's and was confused why I pitted lap 7 (I know Jimmy was) I accidentally only put in 2 laps of fuel thinking I was on a quali run
. Fortunately I had a gap and the pace to stay out in front!
I think I'm not alone in saying it will be good racing at a different track in the form of Le Mans. 👍 (edit: Nurb then Le Mans)

I'm with you on the tanking. Due to not playing much I was only DR B during season 1 and 2 and knew I was capable of a higher DR and more points, so I grinded the dailies before the final season up to about 58k. Round 1 did alright but after I that kept getting smashed by disconnects and aliens. I've tanked back to about 47k and now I'm getting good points to make up for the first half of the season. Thanks for your input, and I do understand the logic, but it doesn't really feel like racing alone in the back of the pack is making me any better. I could be wrong.
Also, your point about DR naturally tanking is valid, but not entirely true when comparing Daily races to FIA races. When I join dailies, I'm usually one of only a couple A+ drivers, sometimes the only one. I'm usually starting in the top 3-5 lately, and finishing in the top 3 as long as I don't mess up, which snags me a few points, but not many.
Point being, when I join FIA races, there are so many other people joining that I'm no longer matched with anyone below A+ or high A, and it just so happens that I'm usually near the bottom of that list. So it's not really my DR that bothers me, it's that I'm being locked out of the potential to gain more FIA points because there's literally no way I can currently compete with guys that have 65k DR or more. Placing low doesn't bother me either, it's just the fact that I was gaining more FIA points before I was A+ than I am now, and while I could be racing better, I'm performing to my current potential. I just wish there was a better way to reflect my current performances. If I'm good enough to be matched against some of the best in the region, my points should reflect that and should be higher than those who have never made it to lobbies quite as strong.
Hey man, I saw you in one of my races yesterday, can't remember which one. Great job.
As far as what my goal in the competition is....I simply want to have good races and be ranked in a somewhat accurate way. I don't care about winning and would actually love to keep racing with those who I consider the best, I just want my points to reflect that. I don't expect to be top 2, but should the people with lower DR and easier FIA races be ranked higher than me because they are doing better in weaker lobbies? I shouldn't be able to say with a straight face that I would have more FIA points if my DR was lower.
I think your point is exactly what I mean, there's a big difference between the bottom and top of A+ and the points should account for it. I don't really want to lower my SR and I shouldn't have to, it's not wins that I'm after, it's just an accurate depiction of where I stand compared to other drivers. The DR system works well, but the FIA races and FIA points system distort reality.
I also had my DR bleed from just around 60k to hovering to around 48-52k. I also kept getting smashed by aliens in the FiA but I stopped bothering grinding my DR back in the dailies. I think on one hand this DR I have right now is a more accurate reflection of my pace instead of the bloated 60k that I earned from pointless wins, but on the other hand I do feel bad because it is gaming the systemI'm with you on the tanking. My goal is to scrape into the Australian top 10 for the regional final so I'm basically gaming the point system. That's just how it's going to be until they fix it.
Yeah to be honest I think you've described it pretty accurately with the words "bloated" and "pointless wins", but some of those wins were good battles against "lower tier aliens". A bunch of them were at Suzuka in either the Megane Trophy pre-nerf-patch or Gr1.I also had my DR bleed from just around 60k to hovering to around 48-52k. Oh yeah there's that odd daily battle where you have a really good fight for the win, it's just that 90% of the time this isn't the case. Suzuka was also where I had some incredible moments that I think were better than some FiA races I hadYeah to be honest I think you've described it pretty accurately with the words "bloated" and "pointless wins", but some of those wins were good battles against "lower tier aliens". If all goes to plan I will do a Bradbury at the regionals then off to the worlds![]()
Screen recording of my on board of the Americas Top 24 Superstars Manufacturer race. First off four people had been disconnected loading into the race but were still able to do slot 5. Was confident in the Corvette at this track being fairly good on the start and having the torque to save fuel at a high pace. Had tied for 3rd best time for time trial with a 1:48.033, so I was expecting no less than to qualify on podium or else it would've been carnage otherwise, as it turned out to be.
On the last lap, approaching the end of the straight leading into turn 1, when IOF was approaching your bumper (24.18 on race timer). You steer right, after IOF initiates to pass you. I believe he was surprised by your move, hence a bump. Do you consider this move to be a reactionary block?
You did receive a negative orange SR notice shortly after, so the game has determined some sort of fault...Here's a chance for you to clarify.
Question for you.

Btw, strong race and congrats on being the only driver to finish without a penalty.
I believe 1 preemptive move is allowed, a reactionary move is suspect and up to the steward's discretion. Just wanted to get your view as your defending move seemed to be reactionary.
As the final season progresses, perhaps a reminder could help avoid unnecessary carnage.
The issue there was more about poor decision making that cost both drivers time when it could've been handled on the straight.I watched @Tidgney "rage" video and then watched the video of the same race made by the subject of Tidgney's frustration.
Strange (having also read the aggressive move thread) how people, most people - in the heat of the moment - are so quick to just assign blame to the other driver and not look at themselves and whether they caused the issue. Good/Bad to see it happens in all DR groups, not just in the lower standards. He blames someone for nudging him off the track near the end when in my eyes, he caused the whole issue and gave the other driver absolutely no chance of avoiding contact.
I see nothing wrong with that last lap maneuver at Monza. If anything, IOF could've feigned going inside to create space in the middle to squeeze through. The issue there was more about poor decision making that cost both drivers time when it could've been handled on the straight.
Maybe the Evo, the WRX, the FT-1, or the GTI VGT would be some good alternatives. Is the Ford GT really the way to go for Nations? I doubt the leaderboards, and I was traumatized by that pig of a car at Bathurst last time...
The Porsche is a good alternative, but it might get gobbled up by the sheep with its low powerthe AMG is a tenth slower than the Porsche (1:57.236 vs 1:57.153) but at least I can rest assured that I have a bit of power on the straights
Thoughts?
Ooh, nice ideasMaybe the Evo, the WRX, the FT-1, or the GTI VGT would be some good alternatives.
Or you can go full on @Tidgney and use the RCZ.
The big question in anticipation of the last Top 24 Superstars is whether the Peugeot is still OP or not. Small power nerf for the aforementioned car and the old Audi R18 could mean a comeback by the Tomahawk at Le Mans.![]()
And boy do the Scottish boys need a tan.and allows me to get a tan while racing.

All about opinions I guess. I am nowhere near as good or as fast as any of these guys but I stopped the video at about 10:30 and I really don't see what The number 11 car was supposed to do. He got used as a brake (in my opinion).
I'm not trying to stir things up, I genuinely use these videos to try and work out how to improve my own driving and get tips on how to pass cleanly and when to back off

You'd be given all sorts of warnings for this driving in real life, it's not safe, clean, or remotely fair.
