I'm guessing we wont be seeing many no pit strategies in the nations this time around. Fuel and tyres both.

Practice times are all very interesting. Of course some of the cars behave differently when they have fuel and imperfect tyres.

I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone goes for assuming I can find 40 mins to join in.

Im Pretty sure it is forbidden to have more than one entry in the finals. It was stated in the rulebook when you first started Sportmode after the Update!

Can't say I noticed that when I clicked to accept but if that's the case then it wasn't very obvious in the page.

Damnit, I haven't had enough practice for the Manu Cup, and I'm still on my way home (the first time slot happens in an hour)

Hopefully everything goes well in that race :nervous:

Got my SR bumped down from 99 to 86 in a Daily yesterday. Should I get it back up to 99 before the FIA races? Does it affect strength of field like DR does?

Just finished today 1st nation cup session in Asia with Evo. Came home first.:gtpflag: As a C/S, a win counts for 448pts only. Good luck mate.

Edit: just finished manufacturer race, started 3rd and finished 2nd. Poor the Misu that lost at least 0.5s on the straight. No way to keep pace with the leading Lexus. Anyway a happy race day.:gtpflag:

Yep, but with a Alfa, like me ? Not so much  But I will try anyway; I like to live dangerously :mischievous:
Man, just persevere. If you can make it thru the U-turn, you're halfway there.
I started from Pole. Got beat up, two 10 second penalties, people early braking in front, cars spinning, everything. Fought back from 11th/16 seconds behind the leader. You can do eeeeet!

2 Stop is viable at Yamagiwa in the right situation

Safe to say going on the leerboards, it a Nissan day today (robably skewed by Nissan grooming players with gifts).

12th place for me in Tokyo, for 475 points. I'm glad to get out of there with DR and SR intact. My first time racing on this circuit ... Some people don't seem to know where their break pedal is.

Looking forward to the next race.

I'm a A+/S player, so count that  Tried some laps this morning and only got 2:09 high, since the 4C has probably the lowest high speed in Gr. 4 :indiff: But of course I know the qualifiers are one thing, but the race is another ;)

Yeah, I was A/S this morning and tumbled down in the Gr. 4 Daily races. to B/C. That had lots to do with who I raced.
Good luck.

Where can you check that number? Newb question yes

Did the earlier race. Are lots of players struggling without CSA on this track? Cars seemed to be all over the place.

Got borked in qualifying through the first chicane by tippy toers and picked up too many penalties to do much in the race.

Got t-boned as another player lost control off a curb and got pushed off track twice in the first few laps. About half way through I had a significant boost by a red-bar teleporter. All deemed to be my fault of course and I probably received about 20s of penalties all told. Even with all that drama I still managed to come back from close to last to 10th in a full A+/S lobby so it wasn't a complete write off.

And, It seems brake testing is quite popular through the two fast corners.

My best lap around Yamagiwa in my GTR is 1:36.076 and no matter what I do, I just can't beat that time. I don't want to turn the traction control off because it spins far too easily and I just can't master racing on a manual gearbox. I suck at GTS.

IMHO, I don't think you want to pit to put yourself back into traffic. So unless you're way out in front or maybe if theres a huge gap behind I wouldn't bother.
I'm aware. I'm asking because I like to keep my options open for pit strategies. Depending on traffic I'll either do a two-stopper on Lap 5 and 9 (the latter for tires only), a conventional one at Lap 7, or an undercut at Lap 6. I've already rehearsed the former two, and I'm sure the last will be relatively easy to pull off
Would like to know the outcome:tup:
Will do

Rushed home to enter the Manufacturers Race with 20 seconds to spare - ended up driving like crap and finished last for 0 points what a waste!
