OKay, this is for the testers. I mean the players that disect the details. What's with the tyres from QUaly to race? My tyres were better in the race than in qualy. Not saying the lighter fuel loads don't have en effect, but my tyres were lasting longer than I thought. Especially the RS. I could have pitted one lap earlier and gotten a couple spots. Maybe even up to my starting position. The other cars came straight back to me, as pretty much all did a one stop.
I pit end of lap 5 for RM(9th place) . End of Lap 10 for RS(came out 16th). Yes, a couple cars got penalties, but there was a pack of six cars I closed right up on. I got bumped a few times that impeded my momentum and I was also being patient behind drivers struggling.
I'm keen to go again, just to experiment. Depending on the room, I might be able to post a time like the Pole Lancer.
Players ran the RS first. I think the Atenza can run the RM like I did, to end of lap 6. Then, run the RS to gain some time for the last run on RM. I wasn't being too overpowered by cars on the RS. Moreso in cornering grip.
Holy heck! The Atenza has some top end. First off, out of the final corner, I left an M4. I mean, pulled away. It was in my tow, while I was behind an AMG and the M4 was not making groun. This was Lap 2. Second, I wasn't struggling to keep up. I was calm, my hands were sturdy on the controller, the car didn't sound like it was out of breath. I'm a little dumbfounded.
Sorry,
@Redneckchef from what I could see, keep in mind I was on the slower tyre, the VAntage didn't seem too flash. I'll post a pic of its tyre wear. MAybe it was that race with those players.
Edit:
Shoot! I could have run these from maybe lap 9.
