wait how are you guys already driving? the races aren't starting until i like 4 hours.

Or are start times different in different countries?

You're correct. Asia is first, then EU's first time slot will start two hours after Asia's last. Ditto with the US
 
Quick Question to those who already had their first race on Le Mans: How long does the whole race+qualifying take?
I´ve got about 40 min today after entering the first slot until i have to leave. Im calculating 15 min entering and qualy + 25 min race at the moment.

I don't think you'll have time. Matchmaking, loading times, warm-up, the grid presentation etc, it all adds up. It will be very very close. I guess you could at least try, and if you run out of time, quit.

The race goes around for 20-25 minutes. Quali is 10, then there is a 2 minute warm-up as well as a 1-minute preparation
 
Started 13th finishrd 12th. Did a two stop. First for tyres then fuel after everyone took their stops. Still getting used to the NSX. TCS 3 kicks in a bit much.

Very respectful players.
 
Are there any manufacturers that we should completely avoid because of their current lack of pace?
 
Nations race at Lemans went well. Started 4th and finished 2nd. Pitting for fuel only works well. Tyres last pretty well to the end and save yourself about 7-8 seconds in your pitstop.

What car did you use?
 
Nik_Makozi pulls off a no-stopper in today's Nations Cup and wins the race by around 18 seconds! Manufacturer's Series had a much more competitive field, and all the other cars, apart from the Porsche that came 2nd (although it is much lighter I guess), had a somewhat better BoP (PD you need to do a bit more work) than the Mercedes. Plus there was mistake at spoon which cost him something like 2-3 seconds, and a 5 second penalty for the smallest contact I've ever seen. Here's the full stream: :)

Made it into the top ten stars in the American region for the nations cup practice! Number 7 so far.

I admit, those other people are very good, but they're around the same speed as Nik. Put them all together in a one-make race and it would be a whole different story. But an Aston Martin and Lexus beating a Mercedes on the straight, with the Merc having to use slipstream just to keep up, just isn't right.
 
Btw anyone who's wondering what car to use for today's Nations Cup, it's a 3 way decision between the Audi R18 2016, Peugeot 908 2010, and the SRT Tomahawk VGT Gr.1. Nik used the SRT and won by a mile, so I'd suggest it. :)

You're American, why don't you use the SRT Tomahawk VGT? It's amazing on the straights, has great fuel economy, and handles like a dream. The best alternative to the Nissan GT-R LMP1.

I don't have the car, but also I am a bit biased towards Audi since that's what I race in real life.:lol:

It's worth the credits though. And can I imagine the rage an opponent would create (and the satisfaction you'd get) when he gets creamed on the Mulsanne. :p

Normally about 45 to 50 min turnaround. Used to do manufacturers race then have about 5 minutes to do nations race.

15th and 16th respectively on the Manu Cup. I should've paid more attention to that race and practiced there as well :lol:

Edit: I went to the US region because I want to set a Top 10 time there after seeing the leaderboards, and then I get greeted by a very long agreement form. I didn't have this in Asia. Anyway I read it through and holy damn the information is literally spoonfed to you (How to Enter a Race: Step 1 is literally turn on the PS4) :lol:
It also has some weird stuff like "Employees of Sponsor... judging panel and immediate families are not eligible to enter or win", "Void (the entry) in... overseas military instillations"
What the hell is this "Each entrant competing must complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release, or... a Declaration and Release Form"?

Oh, it also has my last name as the address (San Mateo). 'Murica is wiiiiiild :lol::lol::lol:

I normally chose the Mazda VGT as my car around Le Mans, but I think I'll go with the 2016 Audi this time around. I can drive more comfortable and sound with the Mazda but on raw pace the Audi is so much quicker.

Did the Nations and Manufacturers. First time I'm been in a lobby thats full of A+/S, and both were. So that was cool. They've all come out of the woodwork for these events.

Finished 9th in the Nations. K32 posted a vid of this one from the winners perspective. Enjoyed this race. Realised after pitting that the no-pit strategy was a winner, but nevermind. Kept it clean.

Manu was a fun but for other reasons. Life happens and I manged fit in a lap of practice. Luckily (?) I was ranked #20, so figured id just do the full 10 mins qualifing as practice. Ended up qualifying last and I still had zero confidence in the car so I trudged around at the back for 12 laps. Finished 17th after 3 others got bored and decided to do a rally cross event instead.
