Just watch thé live stream and you'll see :)

At Catalunya, I'm 4 seconds slower than 10th place in the Top 10 Asia/Oceania. This one should be fun. Also, digging the Penalty zone at the back straight.

Edit: Oh, snap! Starting P1. Lots of D/S players.

oh well, bumped down to last and recovered to 4th.

Was third during the last portion of the race but ended up losing two positions because tire wear got the better of me, plus a two second penalty after crossing the penalty zone. Had P1 not been an entire minute ahead and P2 about 15 seconds ahead of me, a win would've been possible...

Just picked up the F1 car this morning and took it for a test run on today’s track. This thing is tough, it’s so fast that I keep loosing traction. The best I could muster so far is a 1:18.440 and that’s not gonna cut it.

Im guessing thats a ford.

Are FIA race lobbies free of that start bug or is it best to avoid racing until the next update lands?

I had no problems with the race starts tonight.

The only bad news was that I blew another pole position in the F1 race. Someone was able to go five laps on Super Softs, whilst I hit the cliff on the fourth lap on Softs which resulted in a lazy spin. The good news was that I salvaged 3rd from that, and combined with the 7th in Manufacturers I finally broke through the 55k DR barrier that's been eluding me (55,495 to be precise).

The Mercedes W08 is easy enough to drive without TC now, but leaving it on is still something to consider for non-aliens, as it might have been the difference between the winner in my split surviving on the Super Softs, and me having to go Soft-Medium-Medium and still having issues at the end of each stint.

Disconnected again, this time just as I finished qualifying (3rd - one place ahead of @Fido996).

*le sigh*

First time i race Barcelona a few minutes ago on my EU account quebracoco_84 . Only 15 minutes training, i'had just practice this track a few times in Assetto corsa 2 years ago.
I wasn't very confident at the start but i've watched a few the The @kie25 Round 4 Guides GR.3 Catalunya
I want to thank him a lot for those precious advices. For my big surprise i win the race after qualifying pos 1 , 1 stop racing hard tires , with the best race lap , in 20 minutes 20 seconds.
I've never thought that i could be so performant so quickly there. Great tutorial. Congrats.

Another crap FIA Manufactures race with a bunch of ****ing idiots...these races are becoming very tiresome with all the punting off track tactics so now getting to the stage of not bothering with them....

Turns out F1 cars with a false start check and a 250 metre dash to the first corner is a hilarious combination - who would've thought?

Still, 7th at Interlagos is better than I was expecting, especially since I had to change my mediums after five laps. The tyres really go off in this if you slide.

So, i have decided to switch manufacturers from lamborghini to alfa romeo for the exhibition series. As for my result in todays race at circuit barcelona. I started 16th on the hard tire after messing up on my second qual run on the medium. Thanks to me setting the tcs at three before race start, i gained a free position thanks to a glitch up ahead of me. I was 7th when i pitted at the end of lap 6. Ended up 9th, which was great for my points haul which was few and far between so far. Considering that i am usually better in the gr4 cars rather than the gr3 cars, i will gladly take it.

Bit of strange night tonight

Did the Manufacturers first and either I am slow at Catalunya, or the Peugeot VGT is garbage out of slow corners. I think it was a bit of both, so qualified way back in 17th. This meant I started perfectly on the chicane, and the guy behind got a good run into the last corner at the start and tried to go up the inside. He nudged me a bit wide, and onto the astroturf and I spun into the wall on the inside. By the time I got turned around I was 35 secs off the lead and 15 secs of the 18th place guy so had a quiet race from then on. Managed to pick up a couple of places but a bit boring.

In the Nations I ended up in the top split, so was quite surprised when I got 8th in quali. Unfortunately that puts me in the middle of the field, and I struggled with a couple of collisions in the 1st couple of laps. Managed to get through the 1st corner with only a minor hit, but going into the 4th corner 4 people in front ran wide and I sort of followed. The guy behind me nailed the 1st apex and then as he tried to go up the inside I was trying to avoid the guy outside me and it all ended in disaster (Apologies to Oscaro_Slent). After that I made a mistake on the next lap at turn 7 and that was that, all the way to the back of the field. From there I was ok, and picked up a few places.

Both races didn't really work tonight, but I enjoyed the driving. Both the track/car combos were fun, even if I messed both up :)

Whew! Glad that's over. I almost don't want to post the video of my Manufacturer's race tonight. On to the next one I guess. :)

Had no money to buy the Mercedes so no nations for me.

Manufacturers was decent. Qualy was average (on the rooms i'm getting atm is pretty much impossible to get a clean lap). The Aston had potential there but the tyre wear was a bit critical on the race pace, which is my priority high now, I'm trying to get a better consistency.

Had my go at the Manufacturers today and I am really content with my win. Thought I had no chance considering I tend to get nervous when racing with others but I manage to somehow overcome it today. My second ever Manufacturers win and I'm glad my tire prioritization strategies was on fleek.

Funny Nation for me yesterday. 8th on grid, sent on the back of the grid by some dude full of adrenaline who turn my car 180 in the first corners.
Frustrating, after spending the entire week in daily races, to maximize my DR and SR.
My SR is still up there, but lost almost 2000 DR points from that flick of the switch, in those 10 seconds of the race.
It's like in boxing rule now, "protect yourself at all time"?! :( These kind of stuffs can make you paranoid in online racing.

My Manufacturer's race is still uploading but my Nations race deserves a special mention.

Long story short, I got blocked again during my qualifying and set my fastest time on worn tires. I should've started around 3rd-5th and so I was scared I was going to be in the middle of a hornet's nest. It definitely was! Probably the most racing action in one race I've had in a long time. Too much to go over so just watch it instead.

yeah so I'm gonna need you to just stop racing in MFG at this point, so I can hold onto this 1st spot for Lexus. Didn't anyone tell you these exhibition seasons are for non-aliens only? Geez :D:scared::nervous:

I had a rollercoaster of a Manu race for the 1st 9 laps but the real attraction waiting for me was.. a physics glitch? It was the same line I had been taking on this corner probably 100 times prior. Was it my fault somehow? This has completely thrown me for a loop.:confused::confused:

Go to 16:25 if the embedded time stamp doesn't work:

Did you have a lot of lock on?
