I’m gonna guess we have both days to compete in the first round??

Loving the tuned down f50 by the way... what a beast

Now I’m glad, since I had free time this afternoon, I jumped on with my Euro account and did both races...since apparently the American races are back to normal/tomorrow again.

First round has been changed back to wednesday in N.A. but the rest of the season still shows tuesday/friday...
if they are doing two days per round then thats fine, but they'd have to do something like 3 slots per day or let us run for best results again to encourage a good player count in each slot.
And they NEED to adjust the time slots in North America... at the very least move it back by 2 hrs again, if not more. Its simply not fair to our friends in the west.

Wait, whats going on?! I am in NA region and was hoping to try and do the fia races this round. week days are tough for me cuse of work schedule, so i was hoping to still see it on Saturdays. Guess I'll have to wait and see how it pans out...

Just got home from work.. missed all time slots... what the heck is this ninja change! Although I would much prefer Wednesday, Saturday :( to, I'm at least not tired on a Saturday as I can have a lie-in after a week at work!

I think we have another chance tomorrow. When you click on race entry after the crazy o'clock given, it says there's a race on tomorrow at 5pm

PD.....

For EU they are 10 slots , 5 today and 5 tomorrow. I've raced my EU ccount 4th and 5th slot.

1st win Manufacturer with mercedes , 6 laps medium and 5 laps medium too for safety.

Nation with a 2d place with the SFR , less than a second behind a norway wild viking boy in a F50 :nervous:. Before i did a first try with a porsche but the car is penalized at the rolling start in 1st gear , it almost stop when upshifting to 2d and people behind you pass easy. Out of this it's a good car to be used no ABS BB+5.

There is no race today in Brasil South america account.

We can allegedly switch manufacturers AGAIN?! (Video example shows him currently driving for Aston Martin before the switch)

I'm not sure how I can explain it in more detail, but all you gotta do is change the power low enough to meet N300, you literally can't do anything else to it because once you lock that in, BOP does all the rest. You aren't in control of the power or weight, you just have to ensure your power is in the RANGE of N300 and it does all the rest. The power and weight is decided by the game. You only have to "upgrade" with mileage points if the car you want to use is let's say N500 (Ferrari F50). Upgrading it allows you to tune down the power to N300, but as soon as you lock that in, the game changes the BOP accordingly, which includes power and weight. You literally have no say in what the power or weight settings are. As far as the power band goes, who knows, who cares, you have no choice, but I assume that de-tuning an F50 to N300 isn't going to get the best performance out of that car, but it will still be fast for N300.
Thanks for explaining, I understood everything, I was just asking to see if there was any tricks in detuning but it's clear that there isn't.
I came across the BOP screen last night and it all made further sense to me.
Might be going with the F50 as the gearing is better for me and suits my driving style but I probably won't have time for a tyre wear test.
On top of that my G29 down shift paddle has started to sometimes miss shift completely on top of sometimes double down shifting.

Yeah, I switched mine on Monday, but today, after the weird-ass schedule change, the game made me do it again before I could actually enter a Manu race

Ok so can someone explain to me (New to this whole GT Nations Cup thing) how the points are given should I play all time slots and accommodate points or there is something else entirely ? I mean how my final Round 1 points are calculated ?

The points you get in the last race you do are the points you are awarded. You gamble your most recent points haul in any subsequent races in the hope of getting more points. It's up to you to stick or twist.

Yep! But think that's because we have a small GT Sport population in our region, so PD might be trying to get us all to race at the same time lol.

Yep, it’s like a shot at redemption. If a person really blows the first try in a very bad way, it’s another shot. Especially if you were run off the track a few times, no fault of your own.

That's a good thing. They should take that to the next level: each region with three Manufacturer and three Nations, staggered by an hour. So you have six hours of races. Nations one hour, Manufacturers the next hour, etc...

It would make better lobbies, reduce the "let's try it again" from the new format, and it would also better accommodate people with odd hours.

The '01 Porsche 911 GT3 is the sleeper pick for tonight's Nations race. It actually has a bit more top speed than the Ferrari, though it does lose out when accelerating from low speeds. It's also easy to drive once you have your brake markers down, the only challenge being getting through the wall of chumps unscathed.
