Close match in tonight's FIA Manufacturer's Down Under.

7th place, just 0.1xx off 6th place, who had the nerve to call me a tool after he tried to cut me off and rebounded into the wall at the first uphill chicane. Had I not understeered off the last corner because my tires were shot, I would've given him his comeuppance and called out his "Star Player" status (I'm B/S, I gave his PSN ID a quick look and apparently Kudosprime says his DR is actually somewhere down in the C rating) and said "guess you're the tool now lol".

But alas, I overshot it. Still a good race all around.

Some people don't take being penalised well.

Racing hards for the Aston next week. Completely the wrong tyre choice, should have been sports tyres if not comfort.

A summary of both rounds of Nations cup for me to date.

Round 1
Attempts: 1
Points scored: 1752

Round 2
Attempts: 3
Points scored: 0

That is all.

Don't know if this is the right place, but here are the Sport Mode power to weight ratios for Gr. 3 cars this update. There are are no Gr. 4 dailies this week so I have no data but if anyone can pm me the percentages from today's manufacturer's race, I'll start another sheet.

Urgh, tried to enter the Nations race. Disconnected. Tried the Manufacturers, disconnected.

Maybe try it later one. Going to eat food and watch rugby :)

What a pathetic piece of ****ing **** Gran Turismo has become. Fia approves of this ********? Get punted off track, you get penalty. avoid cars, get lower SR. Cars stand in the middle of the ****ING, you get penalty even though there is NOWHERE to go. Wow. You could think that will all the shekels these mother****ers have, they could admin the races some how, but nooo. There´s cleaner racing in mariocart/gta than this. auto-steering, what the ****? How in the living **** is that a "driving simulator"? How can people NOT get grouped in together with similar drivers and their settings? **** you PD, **** you Kaz for ruining a franchise like this. So, ban me for ranting, I'm done with this piece of ****.

From your video that other car was ghosted before and after the incident. So did he unghost right as he swerved into you or did the game allow contact while ghosting?
Its hard to tell from my cell phone.

Either way, the guy could've just held his line. Totally unnecessary.

Guy serving a penalty at Bathurst. In the middle of the road. Car in front of me drives through him. I drive into him, even though he was still a ghost. Top work.

Last try mountain panorama , start 4th , bumped violently first turn first lap, fall to 16th , then after a good race back to 8th ....., but bumped again last turn last lap and finish 10th ....:ouch:👎:grumpy:

He unghosted then swerved.

Round 2 of the 2019 Exhibition Manufacturer Series from Alsace - Village II.

Not a favourite track of mine but gave it a good go anyway. I didn't quite have the pace to move forward as I'd have liked and got tangled up with another car on the opening lap but it was a pretty fun race all the same in another ridiculously competitive field of drivers.

Qualified 11th in Nations Cup, finished 8th.

I could have qualified better but on my last hot lap(which was going very well) some idiot was just casually driving in the middle of the road at the top of the mountain. I couldn't get aroundnhin so I just smoked him from behind. No penalty for me hehe.

I got as high as 5th on mediums all race. 5th place looked like a lock but unfortunately I made a serious error on the final esses before the last turn on the 7th lap. I caught the dirt on the inside and went way wide all the way to the left wall. 3 guys zipped by me and I came out in 8th. Made a run towards the end and caught up to those 3 guys ahead of me but it was too late.

I wasn't expecting much out of myself at Bathurst though. I've never had much success here. I just can't figure out the racing line I guess.

Well, this was a depressing night at the races. Alsace is one of my favorite tracks. Did lousy tonight. Two tries, both attempts starting at the back and ended in the back. Never came close to my practice time of 2:05.
Very clean racing, all C S. Just couldn’t get it together. In Detroit all next week so any hope at picking up some points are gone until Saturday. :banghead:

Terrible day for me all around today. Did nations 3 times: 1st time I couldnt get a single lap out and started in last. Second time I started in second and spun in turn 1, 3rd time also commited some mistakes and got a massive 5s penalty to finish 3rd. The video below is from my first attempt, starting in 20th place.

Manu I ran twice. The first slot didnt give too much points. Second attempt (video below) had a stronger room, and I achieved what was possible from that field.

I made a right mess of both races last night.

In the Manufacturers I simply had no speed. Qualifying was bad and ended up way down the field, so tried a 2 stop and to be fair it nearly worked. I was 5 seconds off of 4th at the end of the race, but unfortunately that resulted in 11th. Race was pretty boring tbh as my strategy meant I never really saw anyone and I ended up just catching up to a big queue of cars at the end of the race. Don't think I had the pace for much more.

For the Nations, I knew the track a bit better, but that didn't stop me making a complete hogs ear of qualifying. Binning it at the Cutting on my 1st quali lap, and then at The Chase on the 2nd. Ended up starting dead last and so began my fight back. Had a few decent overtakes, a couple of people in front crashed, and managed to work my way up to 8th by the end of the race. Tbh it was a lot of fun, so decided that was enough for the night. Probably could have gotten more points if I had tried again but I was a bit tired :)

I'll get vids up eventually but man, FIA was utterly frustrating. The one Nations race I did was - in retrospect - really low on points compared to all the other ones. My Q could've been pole as well but of course, I threw it away in my race because my wheel is too sensitive and touched a blade of grass. Wasted the rest of my night doing Alsace and got horrendous points because my tires wear is atrocious and Rexy can't pass a snail on a straight. To add insult, I tested St Croix last night and it won't make it on fuel.

Might have to do @Tidgney's Wreckfests more often to pre-release my frustrations driving for Subaru.

You need 10.000.000 $$ for wednesday nation round 3 ??? Here is a way to do it while you sleep or when at work. It will spend around 20 hours.
The car is fantastic , this is going to be an epic racing moment for sure. We'll need all of you there to make it competitive.
