GTS companion app. It shows a leaderboard of the top 100 times and your time at the top of the list with whatever rank you are.
Thanks. I installed the wrong companion app at first, but I've found it now. I see what you mean in your previous post - you can only see your leaderboard position for past races, not for the current one, so you can't use the information to choose whether to race or not. It does explain why I was able to drive away from everyone and win by 9 seconds at the Clio RBR race, it was my best free practice leaderboard position by a long way.

Here is another website that gives you even more details than the Companion App.

Enjoy! 👍

There is such a stark contrast between this round and the previous round in terms of hard you can push (In Manufacturers at least). Not sure about every round being like this but I'd definetely like these kind of races to increase in quantity.

I haven’t turned a practice lap yet, but I’m excited to get back to real racing again!

Every time I have better results, trying to beat 1000 points. Today 900 !

I just don't get Willow Springs. I'm pushing to my absolute limit and people the same rating as me in the same car can go over a second a lap quicker.

It's very tricky, I'm about the same rating as you and managed a 1:25.7 in free practice, which is 198th in EMEA right now, so that's good by my standards. But I really struggle to do it consistently, I find the lack of reference points around the track mean I can't nail down every action to the mm where I can accurately repeat it every time, and what I've noticed is that incredibly small differences in how you take some bits can make a huge time difference. I think it's a track that would be much easier on a 32:9 screen or with VR, as the place you need to see to judge the next action is so often off the screen.

My race was a bit disappointing in that I ended up in 2nd mid race, and clearly had far better pace than the first place driver, closing up a 1.5 second gap in not much time. But once behind them, they were a moving road block. Painfully slow in all the places where I couldn't get past them, but I just wasn't quite gaining enough down the straights to get half a car of overlap before the turn in at the end. So people behind caught up and we ended up with a 5 car logjam behind painfully slow driver (PSD) in 1st. I got mugged from behind due to having to back off behind PSD and finished 5th, while PSD won. Staggeringly slow overall race time, quite bizarre, really. But 941 pts is my 4th best Nations Cup points, and I gained 900 DR, just under 1500 short of A rating now.

Best result of this Manufacturers season so far! Qualified 3rd in my lobby for the 19:00 race, and succeeded in following the Honda and Lexus in front through the early stages. Almost lost it on Lap 2 after going wide and touching the gravel at the exit of Warsteiner, dropping down to 5th as I recovered. With a chance of a podium finish gone, I ended up having to defend myself from a fast and at times aggressive Supra, whose cornering advantages were a good match for the Mustang's traction and straight-line speed. Held on for several laps while the Supra got reeled in by an Aston, until on Lap 6 the Supra lost traction coming out of Turn 7, allowing me to pull away by a sizeable margin. A clean, consistent, but fairly lonely race from that point onward, eventually resulting in me taking 5th place and 1,466 points.

A well-deserved victory for the pole-sitting Honda, too!

If the Ford GT touched or pushed the GTR wide, it shouldn't be a penalty.
The GT-R missed the Ford GT by about three feet to the left going for a lunge on the last lap because he had slipstream and worn tyres and misjudged his braking point as a result

The Ford had spun out from further up the field earlier in the lap and apparently gave up on seeing the Nissan drive past him in this manner, meaning the Nissan didn't have to slow down out of guilt/shame/hilarity to give the position back

Threw away 200 points by getting into a second race, thanks to some tosser ramming me off into the desert at the final corner. Ended up 15th in Manufacturers' thanks to blowing my second quali lap with a corner-cutting penalty and traffic.

Good going bud

Tried being a hipster and used the Ford GT40 in Nations. My thinking was that the top speed advantage will nullify the XBOW's cornering advantage. Unfortunately I forgot Weak draft was on and it ends up being the same anyway  Tyre life is about the same for both cars (maybe slightly worse for GT40 at the end of the race, but nothing major). Still did a good race. Managed to hold off faster drivers at the start and hang with the pack to finish 7th IIRC. If the GT40 had better gearing (closer and quicker shifts) it could be a real contender. Otherwise XBOW is the safe bet but man it's just so boring when one car is the clear meta. Might as well make it a one make race.

Manu I was surprised at the turn out despite it being the last slot race. Usually I was midfield DR wise but with the number of aliens I knew this was going to be another backmarker race  Evo is as good as the WRX from mid corner to exit, but brakes are not as good unfortunately. Finished right where I started (16th/17th ish). Got close to a Beetle in the closing stages but with the Evo being down on top speed it was always a struggle to get close enough into T1 or the chicane to overtake without divebombing. Pretty boring race overall. I don't think anybody had any change of position between quali and the final result. I was expecting good battles because of the low tyre and fuel wear, but the rolling start gaps are just too wide (I started all the way in the middle of the chicane ). With the level of drivers in top split, somebody rarely makes a mistake and it just ends up being a static gap management race.

Gr.B for next Nations is going to be interesting at least. Maybe PD might drop a surprise update next week and make it a rain race :p Monza in my Evo Gr.4 though, I might as well drive the race in reverse :banghead:

But of practice for Wednesday’s FIA Nations.

Sardegna C | Gr. B RCZ | 0:56.997 | Wheel & Auto

Sardegna C | Gr. B RCZ | 0:56.715 | DS4 & Auto

Tyre wear is x18.
This could be a two stopper.

I ran my what third FIA? Nurb gp is a good track for me, and I don’t know what I did on qual but there was traffic, I was stuck, and then I had one chance and blew it with like a .58.5 or some such.
I started dfl.
I picked up a bunch of spots though and finished strong. It really sucked when I looked at people’s times after the race...If I had laid down a nice even just low 57 I coul have started further ahead.
It was a good fun race though. It was awesome to have a full room of folks matched well. I think 1.5 seconds separated the grid...
It was fun to battle anyhow. I only run these when it’s a good combo, so only once in a blue moon.
Definitely good racing though...Far Beyond dailies. Great matching,

The Ring GP circuit was not kind to the Mustang. I could only manage the middle and last slot tonight.

Middle slot was a bust. Horrible qualifying. Started 18th finished 14th.

The last slot was better but not at all what i had practiced. Decent qualifying time of 1:55.6 but still .5 seconds off my mark. Started P7 and finished P7. It was the lowest point room for the top split.

Had a good battle the first half of the race but then a train formed. @RoadBeef looked to be in the middle of an outright brawl at the front.

Here is the stream of that race. Race starts at 25:30.

Sounds very similar to my race last night (6pm), i took pole.. put a gap (1-2 sec) between myself and second... end of lap 4/5 i touched the dirt and lost it down the straight... 4 folk passed and i had to chase them down.. caught the group on lap 11 and took 4th (maybe from you) and we all finished in a pack on the line. Think there was 0.2 between us all... another wasted opportunity. At least my DR isnt in free fall anymore

I found out the hard way that I'm really not that good at the Nurburgring.

P13 in the first race (out of 17 cars). Ended up quitting the second race, it seemed like I was destined to come in last, or ruin someones race and come in second last. I know the Porsche is one of the better cars there(I seemed to be the only one struggling with it), but it seems so sluggush now compared to how it was in the exhibition season.

I'm hoping the second part of the Manufacturers series has some more favorable races, but I'm ready to make a manufacturer swap.

Ha, yes, that was me you passed. I think maybe the SF-R suffered more than the X-Bow with tyre wear, and that was why the winner became painfully slow around the sweeping bends but just able to stay ahead on the straights. At least it made for some exciting racing, and everyone did a pretty good job of keeping it clean. I may see you again in the next one, depending on the split boundaries!
