I have a connection, but Sport Mode shows "no planned championship events", calendar is empty as well. Only the Weeklies are available. Very odd timing, but maybe we'll get a new schedule for the Exhibition rounds so they can reuse the Stage 1 one in April?
FIA just magically reappeared for me without leaving Sport Mode screen. Even let me press Enter, but I'm now staring at that watch to no effect![]()
Not for me. Tried rebooting game again and got black screen (not the first time). Brilliant.Back online... but it's still taking centuries to load. My Daily Workout mileage from last night to today isn't showing, either.
At this rate, it looks like the 16:00 slot is off.
FTFYPD's response:
If they could mess up this game any further, I don’t know how. They must employ a creative director to come up with new ways. Absolute cluster ........
PD's response:
"We thought you were all boycotting this race so thought we'd catch up on some server maintenance. What's the big deal? Please continue to enjoy GranTurismo Sport!"
I sincerely doubt those statements considering that the Asia/Oceania races seemed to run without hitches.
Seriously, it wouldn't surprise me at all if this has anything to do with the reduced speeds and/or increased traffic brought on by the Coronavirus situation. I genuinely wonder how the situation must be affecting the staff at Polyphony; can't think that the recent boycott claims and server issues would help company morale during these rough times.
Anyway, there's been a slight improvement - I can enter and exit regular lobbies without an issue, but am still experiencing slower load times in certain menus (e.g. My Menu, Sport Mode Race Entry). Race listings are showing up, though, which is a good thing.
