The OP Gr4 Mitsu got nerfed, nice.

Big fan of the Nissans both becoming less powerful. That's just what they needed. Famine no doubt seething that the Gr.4 Atenza goes untouched.
We call them "The Four Brothers". If one doesn't get you another one will.I also need a new name for the "4 lefts".
Yeah I haven't seen too many Gr. 4 Mustangs recently, and never really at the front of the field either. Reminds me of IMSA nerfing the C7.Rs last season despite them not even winning a race in over a year...Great after putting in a few laps on Spa before turning in for the night I wake up to the Mustang getting taken down a notch. Didn't it already suck? Oh well, at least no changes to the Ford GT.
Well, the Gr. 3 Corvette lost more weight, even though it was already a decent car. The Gr. 4 car is unchanged, but now I'm worried it's going to be back to being woefully uncompetitive like it was before the previous BoP update.
Also, holy crap what did they do to the TT? It's like the last BoP change to the Gr. 4 4C, except in the opposite direction.
Now that's funny! Some odd quirks within this BoP update, and that's one that jumped out right away.

Has anyone tried the Gr.4 Alfa yet since the update?

I was doing ok with the Mustang in my DR. I think it will still be ok but the test will show..Well, the Gr. 3 Corvette lost more weight, even though it was already a decent car. Big BOP update, Gr.4 especially. TL;DR GT-R gets nerfed again, Atenza finally gets nerfed, 911 and RC-F get buffed for no reason. Basically 15 cars in Gr.4 get reduced power but also reduced weight.
4C gets its weight buffed again but its power is reduced, the TT is literally 1000 kg. See for yourself.

Wow, really made the FF cars a lot lighter and less powerful. I think that is a good idea tbh as it makes the tyre wear a little more even with the MR and FR cars, and should reduce their brutal straight-line advantage.
Same here. DR B/C. Did they change the Gr.3 Stang any?I was doing ok with the Mustang in my DR. I think it will still be ok but the test will show..
Gr 4 RCZ got a much needed nerfing but even I think they might have overdone it. 8% HP is one heck of a nerf at one go.

I'm increasingly in the camp that they should just break off FF cars into their own group already. A lot of problems solved, right there.
We're in the same bracket most of the time.Same here. DR B/C. Did they change the Gr.3 Stang any?
Edit: never mind seen the link above.
We're in the same bracket most of the time.
Seems to have similar feelings about the Mustang too
The Gr 3 is the same as before, and I already like it a lot.
The Gr 4 lost 1% but I am somewhat confident that it will still be ok.
Don't think FF have ever been quick around Spa when tyre wear is involved. The little run I practiced, I'd guess the FF cars would have been struggling for tyres by the half way pointHave to assume the upcoming race at Spa had a big hand in the timing and severity/nature of the BoP changes. FWD cars were set to walk away with it, if they didn't do anything, I'd guess.
.
After seeing how much a 1% increase in weight has hurt the SLS I'd tend to agree!I’m pretty sure I’ve read somewhere that the weight change has somewhere around twice as much effect on the car as the power change.
Same. I had just got to grips with the Merc at Interlagos and found it fairly competitive too!I'm not sure my Merc needed an extra 15kg! I'm fine with little adjustments here and there, cars can change throughout a season. I have however gone from really looking forward to Spa on Saturday to dreading it! Now part of it is me (very tired) but I can't get within half a second of my times from yesterday
I’m thinking of going 10M/5S on that Zonda R one-make this Saturday, thoughts? I also gotta admit I’m looking forward to the Gr.4 race at Spa-Francorchamps for the Manufacturers Series, too.
That's very similar to the time I'd expect to clock in the Merc (judging by one lap pace and tyre deg - haven't done a race test yet). Yesterday, lobby practice with fuel off I was consistent mid 2:28s, this morning after the update I think the fastest I managed was a 2:29.2. That's a big drop off in performance for what was really only a solid top half car anywayWent out for a spin in the Gr.4 Mustang to see how much today's BoP changes affect it. Not too concerned about the power decrease, but still feel it can do with a further weight deduction to compensate. Interesting that it remains more powerful than the M4, F-Type, Vantage and Viper, and lighter than the SLS, yet is beaten by the Lexus on both counts.
Test lobby time was a 25:10.825 with one track limits penalty and 7% fuel on the line. Fastest lap was a 2:29.965; best FP time so far a 2:28.485.
