These cars stick to the curves really well, so Monza with chicane would get my vote. Spa is another really amazing track in high horse power cars. On a side note, pulled out my copy of Shift 2 and ran Bathurst because of all the hype recently. Wow, what a freaking amazing track. I think I'll spend a bit more time on Shift 2 simply for the variety of tracks that we are sorely missing in GT5. Where is that track pack?!

Hopefully we get more tracks. Maybe those from GT4 like New York and Seattle. We can do the chicane version of Monza instead of the no chicane version. I want to get this started so I need people to sign up officially with their car model and color. I hope we can get this accomplished so we can race next week.

I'll be online later, if anyone wants to practice. Thursday we'll be doing Monza, so remember 7:30 eastern time.

I'll post the x1 set up in a bit. I've been working on the AMG events. 7 golds so far. See you tonight.

Maybe i'll get better luck tonight. Anyway, i think i'll just make it home by 8. If not, probably 5-15 minutes later.

8 8
8 8
7 7

Camber

Adjust top speed using FG. Trans also works great for full power X2010 by changing final gear to set top speed of 268mph - good for tracks such as Tokyo, Indy Road, Monza.

I played with the weight balance a little myself. I kept it around 46/54 because the front tires go down rather quickly. Not sure if it helps out any though. So tonight we'll be doing Monza. Depending on how many show up we'll do 10 laps if it's just 4 or 5 of us. If we get more interested people we can do a 20lap race.

I should be on at 8pm eastern.

If anyone wants to try out powerlimited x1's - please look for the room. I'll post the room number here.

Getting online now, opening a room, so you guys just join my lounge whenever you jump on.

I'm kinda interested in this! I'm not sure if I'll be able to run all the time as I'm doing a few too many leagues already but I'd like to run some for sure! I'll add you on psn

I clipped the inside or outside edge of the track, and went straight off, it was a fine line, needing some concentration to win.
I don't know if it was lag or not, but i did see people completely miss thetrack and skip through some corners, more than once.

I will be getting a yellow X1. Mainly because of the 2010 Renault car livery.
And it's such a fast paced race, and i reckon if we get regular people this could be a very exciting series.

It was fun. We should try to get more people for next week. The lag however was horrible. I have great internet and can host next week if needed.

I had Pawel host because he has connection issues joining our rooms. Probably why there was lag. His connection seems different than most.

I would like to join. i think that the biggest difference (for me anyways) is that the X2011 tyre wear is far better than the X2010's, but i can use any coloured X2010. looks like like i missed the 1st testing session :(
Oh and i am in the UK so time difference is about 5 Hrsbut i am mostly looking for good rooms at that time.

Don't worry. Were still testing because there have only been about 5 of us. So the more the merrier, and soon we can get the series started up for a season.

We need to get more guys. See if you can get tbe PROs A and G to join. I'm thinking about doing an all out X1 series after this one is done. I'm working on the details, but I can tell you it involves qualifying during the week to get a spot on the grid.

I'll see, but I think G is on a little late and A is a bit busy right now Joe. If I think of anyone with the skill and time I'll ask them to join.

We have to figure out a way to solve the lag or the connection for some of the members. They want to participate but can never stay in the room, they never load. I may open up the series a little to include two tire compounds per race.

I'm thinking at least one stop per race and use both Hard and Medium tires. Maybe possibly two shorter races with reverse grids to give the slower guys a chance at a win. If the faster guys start at the rear they could probably just pass the slower one's up front anyway. Make it more fun instead of running away with the race.

Sounds like a good idea. Btw, I could try hosting. I live in England (don't know if that would make a difference) and I have great Internet.

Yeah, the two tire thing doesn't work so well as replays don't always show correctly. We just went through some issues in a F10 series because we tried the two tire rule.

Could all start on the hards I suppose, then make the softer tyres optional but the pit stop mandatory.

I was thinking that, or start on mediums and everyone switch to hards for the 2nd stint.

So, what's going on with this series? I couldn't make it because of supervisor training, then because I just forgot about GT5.

It's still happening. We meet on thursdays at 7:30 p.m. eastern and usually start around 8 p.m.

I'll try to make it as best I can. There's been a ton of school work and other things going on, but it seems to be passing. How many people are in this league now, and is it a tournament yet or just some nice Thursday-night race meets?

So far were just meeting because we only had 5 people. This past Thursday we had around 7. So if they sign up or if you and a couple others join we'll have that or 8. That's enough to move forward with an official little series.
