Forza 6 Gameplay videos

I found the Forza Edition Xbox one bundle with 1TB HD for $399 too much to resist. I've waited patiently to see what system I wanted first and I was sure it was going to be the ps4 until all this F6 news was released.I really love my PlayStation and grand Turismo but this is a good deal. Other games I play are Diablo 3 , Dark souls which are both available for xbox and also I have kids who play their own stuff. I will get my money out of the xbox even though I'd rather have a ps4.

I never got my money out of the PS3. I didn't even bother buying GT6. Xbox One is out for around 2 years and we got already have 3 titles (FH2 is a masterpiece!!!!)

I would honestly suggest looking at what else is on Xbox One and coming to Xbox One as I also agree that buying a entire console for one game is a little silly.

This doesn't even include Xbox One backwards compatibility with Xbox 360.

Yeah I know there are more exclusives than just the Forza games. Halo and GoW really don't interest me, and all the multi-plats run better on ps4, so I'd be buying only exclusives on X1. The Rare collection looks cool, I used to be a mad Rareware fan back before all the good developers left the company, in the 64 days. Seriously, if I can find a reasonably priced second hand one I'd buy it, but consoles are a bit pricey in Aus brand new. I'm not really loyal to any brands, so if Microsoft and Sony put their differences aside and joined forces to build a mega console, that would be my dream come true haha.

$400 sounds great, but in Aus I'm looking at $500 for the basic console, or $550 for the 1tb Halo edition. For that price, I could get a full cat back 3 inch exhaust for my car, and I know which I'd prefer lol. Even rebuilding and hiflowing my turbo will cost me less than an X1 :'(

Edit: I'm just going to have to wait patiently for the used prices to drop to a reasonable level. I wish they'd add support for more racing wheels though, as it's bloody ridiculous that my official Forza wheel is supported on PS4, but not X1...

Why try and go for ultra realistic physics with advanced tire models then spoil it all with a unrealistic looking of the game? That to me says they are confused on the direction Forza is at.

lol isn't driveclub photorealistic with arcade physics=.0 I think thats even more confusing then... Gameplay over visuals mate, thats where forza's at

I'm in the same boat as you I preorded Forza Edition Xbox one bundle with 1TB HD I have the ps4 but no gt7 in sight. sadly love ps4 but for racing fans Xbox one has our needs not Sony. I don't like xbox but Its a racers best option. I'm sure i'll get use to it.

DC has amazing gameplay, it's one of the most fun racing games out there. Forza also isn't ultra realistic, it's around the same level of simcade as GT, which is why it can have good graphics. Pcars fits the description "ultra realistic physics with unrealistic graphics" a lot better. Consoles are far from capable of both. You can have realistic physics with average graphics (Pcars) a good mix of the two (GT, Forza), or photorealistic graphics with less complex physics (Driveclub). To me, personally, I like that not all racing games are going for the same niche. Driveclub co-exists perfectly in my collection with Pcars, I play them both for different reasons. 👍

Forza's not directly competing with DC's visuals, or Pcars' physics, as it's targeting the exact same audience as GT. If GT7 comes out and is still the same underwhelming bollocks that the last two were, then Forza 6 will have achieved it's goal. Pcars will be against AC on console, DC vs NFS, and FM VS GT. I'm loving the competition!

I wouldn't tell her it was a stock exhaust. If I needed a new exhaust, it'd be cheaper to get a sports exhaust than a new standard one, it'd make no sense to not upgrade as it'd be cheaper and better.

The system I'm talking about is made locally from absolutely top quality steel, has no catalytic converter, and flows better than $1000+ systems from the likes of HKS. The same company also makes a decat dump pipe for $110. If I wanted a new stock system, I'd have to have one made at a shop, which would cost much more than the upgraded item.

Trust me, I've done my homework on this car.

I am not an expert in toyota (your pic), but a good rule to have is to judge performance parts not only by their initial price, but by how long they last without having to revisit the garage too.
also, another nice rule is that when you buy a premium part, when selling it you get 50% back. (of course not for "consumables" like brake pads, clutches etc)

that HKS exhaust, it is catless also?
and how about acoustics?
a full exhaust its not only dyno, if it was, remove the exhaust altogether

Not sure about the HKS being catless or not. These have two cats (in the stock system that is), the primary is in the dump pipe right after the turbo, replacing that will see significant gains by itself. The secondary is in the usual place, but as we don't have any kind of emissions testing where I live, I can bolt the local sports exhaust on no problem.

The acoustics of the one I want are better than the big dollar systems, as they all run the fat "cannon" tip (locally referred to as a fart cannon), and those sound horrible. The one I'm getting has smaller twin tips. The sound isn't too loud, it's a big business that makes them, and they meet all local requirements for noise. The quality of the workmanship is second to none. Aussies have a good rep when it comes to auto parts though so no surprise there.

Like I said, I've done my homework. I also do all the work on the car myself, as I'm not exactly an automotive virgin lol.

I like how these videos highlights how much the car is effected by roll/suspension, even under braking and acceleration. It seems better than being just static but subtle rather than too exaggerated neither.
