Wow I was racing at Indy oval today in the FGT online, with Real draft oval racing has really improved since GT5. It really almost feels like you can strategize now on your own without having to worry about loosing the draft as its more about your speed instead of the crazy exaggerated draft of GT5.

Could I be a reserve for the Indy 500 if you have a spot left open? I cant do them all only that one as its in between GP2 races I think.

Also, the first kink in the forward version is a killer.
As soon as you drop down the kink, you're going just the right speed to spin the rears up when they lose contact with the road. Add to that the steering input, it's just a disaster zone waiting to happen.

Oh, and it's also a blind corner...

Me and RPH managed to stay side by side through there because we were fair. :)

It's easy to go side by side through, but it has all the ingredients for a disaster. And when, not if, a car slips up in there, it's going to cause a whole load of trouble :scared:

In reverse, the car goes up over the crest rather than down it. Minor difference that probably won't affect anything too much, but i'm still going to play it nice and cautious through there.

Also, only a small minority were causing the incidents.

The crest doesn't matter...the car has enough grip to go through it no problem.

However I really enjoy the challenge of Madrid Reverse though. It's really fun to drive when you're on a flier.

Hitting each kerb and linking each corner up in a really fast car like this is amazing.

With the wheel is really enjoyable. You hit the kerb and the wheel takes a jolt and when you pick up the power you have to squeeze it gently and then you get that bit of opposite lock on.

So much fun.

Not as enjoyable on a DS3, but fun nonetheless.

It's like that with a DS3, just a lot less cool sounding. Or looking.

have tires and power been sorted yet?

why aren't they on the OP?

Furi has to put 5 entry lists in the OP before that unimportant stuff.
James's teams?

Final decision - Madrid Reverse. May go on soon to test Indy Road.

Sorting entry out, anyone for testing?

I'm free tomorrow night if you're doing some then...

Test room up.

If it was just 30 minutes earlier, I would've joined.

Anyone else having problems with PSN?

I would not have tried either of those moves on you in a real race, Furi.

Same. A tiny touch sent you flying off in the wall
