I wouldn't expect any of these six cars to ever be usable in Sport Mode. Regular lobbies yes but they won't make a Daily Race pay-to-enter (and they never do general tuning races any more). So we think we have to choose from a curated selection of pre-tuned cars for all of these 50 (repeatable) new races, right? (No garage cars?)
And six of these pre-tuned cars can be won (once?) and put in our garage and used in normal non-DLC SP World Circuit/MP Sport Mode races?
Sounds good. A bargain at £25 if (big IF)Sophy does the business.
"Are we going again ?"and ? what do you make of that ?
After the PMR launch, I've been trying to think of a single racing game with a penalty system that applies penalties to the AI...Imagine if Sophy is scot-free
Maybe it will be like the missions too, where some events you get to bring your own car. That would make sense for the Gr.3/Gr.4 events.I love the prospect of 50 additional races/missions! Having to use a pre-prepared car does make it feel more like a mission for me personally, but I'm quite happy about this! The prospect of Sophy 3.0 added into the mix means I'll likely take the same obsession with these new events that I took with the new Super license missions.
Beware...

In french, it literally says :
"Once the race is over, you don't get a second chance, exactly like in real races."
The current Forza Motorsport. After the PMR launch, I've been trying to think of a single racing game with a penalty system that applies penalties to the AI...
Haven't thought of one yet, but maybe there's an obvious one I've missed.
Which one, original or current?Forza Motorsport.
Except if they realize people are eager to pay extra money for this instead.Got a feeling GT8 will feature practice, qualifying and races in career mode. And this is like a taste of what to expect. I loved GT4 having this style for some races.
Guess so.I wouldn't expect any of these six cars to ever be usable in Sport Mode. Regular lobbies yes but they won't make a Daily Race pay-to-enter (and they never do general tuning races any more).
I've actually had the AI get slapped in Forza Motorsport 8 with a 1.80 Penalty for cutting corners at Suzuka once.Which one, original or current?
I never really played the original, and in the review build I never saw the AI get dinged for squat even after shouldering me off. Mind you, they were absolutely on rails in the review build.
I do wish more racing games would penalise the AI. Not that they should be do penalisable things, but still.
Apparently it's their way of regulating difficulty. Choose a slower car, get more credits. It's a relief that turns out you can choose several cars for Power Pack, not just selecting one like Missions.
Sure. But I still managed to make it fun in my headI don’t think GT has ever really been a great game for simulating full championships and careers. You can definitely do it with custom races and Microsoft Excel now, just without qualifying lol. But in older GT games even in their championships you only have five other competitors, so it kinda felt pointless back then too imo.
I agree Steve, If people are buying the game now, they can get a copy and this DLC for about £65 all in. As a day one purchaser, I've definitely got my moneys worth out of GT7 over the last 3 years. I guess it depends on individual priorities...I think the price is fair. Looking forward to giving this a go!
Gran Turismo still getting updates; fans still complaining about them. Everything is as it should be.
Considering how many cars are out there, and how many demographics GT caters to, I consider an update to be a success when one out of four cars interests me. Sure, I'd love it if all four cars were ones that I personally want, but the odds of that happening are pretty bad.I’ve complained about the free updates, not trying to get into that, it’s beating a dead horse. But that comes from receiving free updates where out of four cars, one mildy interests you and the rest are throw aways.
"great driver" LOL 😂![]()

Is there a way to send structured feedback on features to PD or would this be barking at the clouds? Not that I know of, but they do read stuff and the majority of stuff on socials and sites about the Cafe is not positive.
