Where we're going with a GTI bodykit, we don't need no injectors. 🤭

Absolutely love how good this model looks.

Fully agree, And even the interior is very badly done. They didnt even go through the effort to make a static picture for the cental console, and I although I've driven an e2008 when my e208 was in for maintainance (so I might be wrong) the driver displays are very wrong also.
I dunno, the interior seems pretty accurate to me:

2008 from '22 (not the same exact trim):

Just for comparison, here's the e-2008 interior:

PD have gotten things wrong in the past, but I don't think they missed the mark here, to be honest...
And I would rather have no screen at all, than have some pointless menu on the center console that gives no useful info to the player :)

Just had a run in the Integrale at St Croix C Reverse. Tightened the suspension to 3.00 F&R with height dropped to 100mm. Nice and stable. PSVR2 is already worth it. From the details of the interior roof vents to the cb radio to the number plate in the passenger door, gives more appreciation for the drivers that lived in these cars for multiple seasons.

After testing the cars, the update was worth it just for the addition of the BX.

But MAN, the Lancia Integrale is a freaking GREAT CAR, what an addition to the game !!
Definitely! I just got home from work and tried the Lancia at Eiger Nordwand. It‘s so much fun to drive! Sounds amazing too.

Let‘s hope we‘ll get the ST 185 Celica WRC car in a future update. These older rally cars are great.

Well, the BX is what I hoped for.

Just like the real thing, it dives and prances but hardly rolls.

Max upgrades (NA, no turbo), hardest suspension, springs, damping and rollbars.
0,5 camber fr and r, 95/105 height fr and r, conversion opened to ,10 fr and 0,0 rear.
Also biggest wheels (21?)

Sports M front and Sports H rear.

Lift off oversteer on demand, and the car stays completely flat and controlled. Loving it.

As for the Turbo, basically same settings, add aero and non staggered racing tyres and it wins the Turbo race in Suzuka 700 easy...

Great addition.

With the Impreza and the Celica already present, can this be the time the Group A finally gets their own BOP set after "appearing" briefly by mistake in the GT Sport website?
Probably not.

But, you can do it yourself in Sophy. I'm telling people, the custom Sophy races are currently the best feature in the game.

The best way I can explain it is like Race A in Sport Mode, I'd go as far as saying Race B on some days. If you balance the cars properly, it's very entertaining.

Drove all the new cars now.

The Lancia, as expected, feels great, a very agile car, really fun to drive!

I really like the BX. Stock it's already nice for what it is and it somehow feels more powerful than it actually is.
Fully built it's a lot of fun on racing tires (and quick enough for Le Mans 700) but I haven't found a good tune for sports tires yet.

The Peugeot is the complete opposite. No matter if stock or fully tuned, it always feels somehow underpowered and boring. Don't think I will drive this one much.

I was messing around with the Subby from GTWS and noticed that it had 175 kg of ballast. So I guess it had BoP added to it from the jump.

Oh, you have to build a custom race. Go on over to the custom race thread. I'm there all the time. The only way I'm getting far enough ahead of Sophy to see blue flags is if I'm grossly out of balance.

Properly balanced, Sophy is a formidable challenge. Proper balance is the catch.

I have a combo race of Group C cars with Cars from that period built up to GR3 spec, fun fun, but like I said, it's a lot of work to balance it all out.
All I do with Sophy are custom races, LOL. I make multiple class endurance simulated custom races. And I also do 450-500 PP long races at Spa with street cars and I usually pick something slower than rest of the field. Sophy still drives like a**.

Yeah, I saw some pictures of it on Gran Turismo's website. It looks like it's gonna be a big attraction for Rally events.

Is the XIAOMI banner at the Nordschleife new or have I just never noticed it before?

I'm not sure how many people noticed (I certainly didn't until I looked at the Delta's BoP information for the new TT) but Gr.B under BoP is effectively two different classes now.

January's update massively nerfed the Celica and Impreza's Gr.B BoP, and the Delta fits in with those at around 300HP/1200kg (the Group B and fictional Gr.Bs BoP at around 500HP/1300kg).

So if there's ever a full-Gr.B race in Sport Mode, don't use the '90s cars. But if they do a '90s Gr.B race, they'll be much more realistic than when we had that Impreza TT where it was like 1.5x as powerful as in real life.

Then your race is imbalanced or the cars are broken. No really, you have to tune the cars for forgiveness, rather than outright speed. I have been talking about this in the custom race thread. I'm regularly finishing in the Top five when I start in the top five. In my races, Sophy is beating my best laps.

Things I would recommend is less variety. For instance, DTM is 3 cars (Merc Evo, BMW Evo, Sierra). The more variation, the worse the experience. Also, when tuning, check the performance parameters on the left side of the settings sheet. Try to keep all the cars within the same performance envelope. And, of course, Boost Weak is a must.

If that is your experience, you're setting things up wrong. With regards to lower class custom races, the AI will always default to the stock tire (or RH if available/equipped). So, you either need to set up the race with the stock tire on all cars (including yours) or put them all on RH. Other wise you're going to have a very uneven experience, and frankly lacking any real challenge. Also, Boost Weak is a must. If you properly balance the setups across the field, you should have a VERY competitive grid.

I drive usually at the sharper end and I find Sophy mostly fine, tame from the early beta sadly but a better level of AI that said it’s not much quicker or fun that the Max AI (3 chilli’s?) and it falls down in some strat. It’s also very very ware that it wants you to place in the race so it changes.

Was fun with the hardcore one, good with all the others not a game changer for me though.

The Peug actually drives pretty fantastic :D

Yup I am biased :dunce:

Honestly, as a FWD, it has better handling characteristics than the Citroen BX. It lacks power, for sure, but overall it's a decent handling vehicle. Tough to get it into many classes, however. I really wanted to make a 550pp build with it, and you "can", but it's not exactly ideal...lol

I haven't done a lot to the car. Some basic sport upgrades and full racing suspension and that's about it

I got 2, one NA and a Turbo.

The NA with Sports tyres:
  • Max NA upgrades, suspension brakes weight etc.
  • No diff
  • Biggest wheels on large body kit
  • Whatever aero

Setup I went for in 5 mins:
Height 95/105 (less and I guess it rubs and doesn't turn)
Max roll bars damping and springs
Camber 0.5/0.5
Conversion angle open 0.10 front and 0.0 back
Aero, set to very low front, minimum rear.

Stagger the tires SM front and SH rear.

Lift off orversteer on demand, apply power to straighten. Repeat mid corner as needed.

Turns and drifts pretty much flat, tons of fun...

I see, I am obligated to say sorry. It's mainly the difference between the e-version or not.
My apologies
