Anyone got an idea on the speed order of the 4 LeMans racers, as in which is the quickest around a track, which is Nr. 2, 3, 4?
I* did a couple of laps around Spa with the 4 Hypercars (on controller), all with their stock settings and without BoP.

- Porsche 963:
2:01.587 (Optimal time was 2:01.504)

- Peugeot 9X8:
2:02.415 (Optimal time was 2:02.393)

- Ferrari 499P:
2:02.445 (Optimal time was 2:02.361)

- BMW M Hybrid V8:
2:02.478 (Optimal time was 2:02.225)

For comparison, I also tried the Toyota GR010, and it was just a tenth faster than the Porsche. They all seem quite balanced between each other, at least around a track like Spa and in their stock settings. No idea how BoP affects them though.

*Worth noting that I ain't the fastest driver, especially if the cars have high downforce. A good player can lap much faster with these cars.

The Aston Martin Valkyrie is in the mix too, it just lacks a proper race fuel tank, RM tyres as a stock ones and a weight reduction option. It's the best of the 6 in fast corners.

Not sure we can compare race distance covered between LMP1 and Hypercars given how safety car periods (and car reordering) are handled now, which are wayyyy longer than before.
The distance record was set in LMP1 diesel era, before hybrids, and those cars have somewhat similar pace to hypercars. Hypecar has a lot more reliability and operates closer to it’s maximum, meaning race laps may actually be faster than LMP1 diesel.

On another note, the front aero options for the Ferrari roughly match the late 2024 Evo package they added, so with a livery update you can make the Ferrari current:

I don’t have any of the others yet, but, the Peugeot is as up to date as you can get. The Porsche had a Evo package this year, though I don’t think the aero options will replicate it. BMW definitely won’t be able to be replicated with the 2026 Evo nose changes, but it’s accurate to pre-26.

I have been on GT7 Reddit sub forum and they are already working on liveries for the new cars!

Amazing how fast the community works on the liveries. I've already downloaded a very good JOTA 963, a good 2023 multicoloured 9X8 and a decent/good 2026 9X8.

The lack of Sophy updates has got me worried about the entire project not gonna lie.

Was looking forward to these cars being trained on Sophy, as well as more Sophy eligible tracks.
The most frustrating part about Sophy is that right now, she CAN actually drive the 4 newly added Hypercars!!

It's just that we can't even select them as of now... 😔

You're miles ahead in all of these, so doesn't seem like it can actually drive them very well?
No, I let him drive away and let the Toyotas fight against the new cars with BoP on, and Sophy drives normally as expected.

I think the update added some wonderful cars, and I also like the tracks chosen for the races.
BUT... what on earth possessed them to hand out a measly 220,000 CR per race and set up such short races?
I mean, we get a great set of endurance cars, only to drive 7 (seven) laps at Le Mans. What for? As a warm-up?

I think it's obvious at this point that "race fuel tank" in the context of GT7 is colloquial for "upgrade that increases the fuel efficiency stat of a car". It doesn't have to increase the actual fuel tank size. ;)
Not only doesn't have to, but doesn't. It doesn't really matter how colloquial it is, there's no racing fuel tank involved.

Engine swaps with race engines improve fuel efficiency because they're designed for the race duty cycle. The Valkyrie already has its actual race engine, because - aside from burning leaner (which you can do with the fuel map) and being wound down to the required 671hp maximum - it's the same unit. Although I don't know about the 11,000rpm part.

Sadly the road car has the KERS that the AMR-LMH (and the AMR Pro on which it's based) lacks, which really is the issue in recreating it in terms of powertrain.

Anybody else after putting the Demon engine in the Rav4 get it has unknown pp? I tried a custom race at X and wouldn't let me race since it had a triangle for pp. Never seen that before

If I go to my EMEA account, the new cars show up. But either of my two USA accounts are no dice. Odd. Whatever.

Tried on my account and, at least on mobile, shows empty spots for me so they are there kinda:

Just spent hours grinding and grinding the remaining circuit experiences to try to scrabble together enough credits to buy these LMdH cars. I've got two so far. The Ferrari and the Peugeot. I look forward to resuming the grind tomorrow. It'll be worth it.

Did anyone get the stealth cars? Because I watched both streams in full and didn’t get either one.
Nobody has, because they haven't been distributed yet.

When they are distributed, everyone who watched the stream(s) in-game between May 23rd and 0859 UTC on June 8th will receive them as Garage Gifts at about the same time.
