Nobody has, because they haven't been distributed yet.

When they are distributed, everyone who watched the stream(s) in-game between May 23rd and 0859 UTC on June 8th will receive them as Garage Gifts at about the same time.
Ok. I just went back and re-read the article about the stealth cars and it said “following” the update, not “with” the update, which was the cause of my confusion.

Absolutely love the new update!

I also finished my first set of liveries for the new cars: All three Ferrari Hypercars for the 2026 Le Mans 24h!

Did some races yesterday with new cars. Ansolutely love them. All of three are different with pros and cons. My personal favourite is Ferrari due to great sound.
All of the work perfect in VR but in Porsche case the window sticker obscure some of HUD above ;)

Too bad we are not getting Sophy updates anymore. I wonder what is the cause.

I want to buy 2-3 Hypercars (duplicates) to receate 2026 24 hours of Le Mans custom race.
Which hypecars do you recommend I buy?
Ι tested Ferrari and Porsche that i found them very nice cars...
It's a shame they didn't update the Le Mans track in detail along with the car package....

2026? Obviously Ferrari, BMW and Peugeot then, as Porsche isn't competing this year sadly.

Not only doesn't have to, but doesn't. It doesn't really matter how colloquial it is, there's no racing fuel tank involved.

Engine swaps with race engines improve fuel efficiency because they're designed for the race duty cycle. The Valkyrie already has its actual race engine, because - aside from burning leaner (which you can do with the fuel map) and being wound down to the required 671hp maximum - it's the same unit. Although I don't know about the 11,000rpm part.

Sadly the road car has the KERS that the AMR-LMH (and the AMR Pro on which it's based) lacks, which really is the issue in recreating it in terms of powertrain.
From ear, doesn't rev up to 11,000 rpm, more like 8,000 rpm (in fact this is probably one of the reasons its power is lower in race spec).

The problem with the Valkyrie's hybrid system is that the road car's ICE is too powerful. To make the powertrain viable and balanced against the competition, most of which run far leaner turbo engines, AMR decided to use the full 100% for the ICE in the combustion/electric proportion (max 670 bhp according to regulations). The electric motor functions only as a starter motor then.

I'm not so sure how much within the "spirit" of the regulations this is. Personally I think one of the reasons the Valkyrie was allowed to run with this powertrain setup is that the FIA doesn't expect it to be top tier. If this was their reasoning, they've been right so far, as the best result for the Valkyrie was a 2nd place at Petit Le Mans with:

  • A very favorable BoP (max power + min weight);
  • Favorable track layout (Road Atlanta with its huge straight favoring the powerful V12);
  • Porsche (best car in IMSA) ballasted to oblivion;
  • Weaker competition than in the WEC (Caddy, Acura more or less, the aforementioned nerfed Porsche, BMW in bad form...).

It may win tomorrow, as anything can happen in motorsport and it isn't that far behind the top cars, but the package has its limitations which prevent it to be top tier. I'm no Newey but, if I was designing a race car today, I wouldn't start with a large, heavy and thirsty V12, no matter how good it sounds on the track. Well, at least it can't be denied it adds some spice to the grid.

We've got a very nice list of modern prototypes from the 2020s, mid 2010s, early 2010s and then sadly nothing until late 80s/early 90s Group C. Would be great to perhaps see in the future an early R8, V12 LMR, 333 SP, Speed 8 etc.
I know we have the F1 GTR Longtail, CLK-GTR LM and the GT-One but they're more Group 2 cars, not the pinnacle of the sport (perhaps the Toyota would just sneak in as it's BoP is 842 vs 795 and 786 if memory serves me)

Love the races this week, although slightly annoying 70 second grid start for the Spa challenge... Had just enough cash in reserve to pick up all the new vehicles day one really enjoying them, just a joy to drive.

I'm a simple man. New cars and races are all good. But I've been waiting for months for this paint to become available so I can complete the look:

And thankfully with this update I can:

The stock factory body version is still the best looking JDM of all time!

Am I being dim, which is highly possible, but can GT Sophy not drive the new Hypercars?

Tried to set up a custom race because clearly PD couldn't be bothered to do it properly, but couldn't add the cars from my garage...

A stupid (or not so stupid) question: why would I buy a Porsche 911 safety car that I'll never use? Or does PD have plans for "Safety Car Driver in a Race" role-playing games?....🤔🤔
P.S. i have bought all "safety cars" for photoshooting roles only....
Because i see some people that are excited about the new addition.

for fun :)

I love the Peugeot too, there's something about that car that I've always been really drawn to. I love LMP prototypes generally, they're weird and wonderful in a way most racing cars just aren't nowadays.

i'm afraid that porsche and bmw have their sounds inverted...

Seems correct to me, comparing the engine sounds in both interior and exterior view. The Porsche, for example, as the same "whine" sound it has IRL, which can be easily heard in the GT7's Replay. The BMW doesn't have that, both in-game and IRL (or is much less noticeable, at least).

But I'm a bit tone-deaf, so could be wrong. :lol:

Today was the break before the 24-hour race. I took the opportunity to do some time attack.

The BMW M Hybrid V8 is the closest to my driving style despite not being the fastest. For the Aston Martin Valkyrie, I started by a first slow lap just to drain the batteries, then I started to use everything was left before each straight line, by activating it around 180km/h to 200km/h (after the Ford chicane; Tertre Rouge; Daytona chicane; Michelin chicane; Mulsanne; and Arnage). I reduced its power until its PP were close to that of other cars.

LMH are a bit understeery due to their 4WD powertrain.

They are close to their real life counterparts when it comes to race rhythm.

Why wouldn't you just not use the battery? It doesn't activate unless you enable it with a button. (unless I'm missing something here).
