Why wouldn't you just not use the battery? It doesn't activate unless you enable it with a button. (unless I'm missing something here).
The hybrid system is taken into account for the PP calculation. Not using it would skew the maths.

That may be, but I'd imagine that lap times and power/weight would get things closer to IRL than driving in an odd manner to discount it. Of course, to each their own!

I have enough to buy one of the new cars currently. Luckily, they're not in the Hagerty showroom on a 3 month rotating basis....
Yeah but there is the seasonal menu so if you buy them all this month you get a free 6 star roulette ticket. Not essential but a nice bonus. I did a silly thing and spent my 10m+ credits last week on filling gaps in the car collection not realising how expensive these cars would be!

The Valkyrie in the game isn't a race car. You can't adjust its downforce nor reduce its weight, which is much higher than other hypercars; things are skewed no matter what we try to achieve.

Has anybody received their "Stealth" models yet?
Not for me 😔
Anyone know what the message for the Power Pack on the main menu write 1 day left 🤔
Edit : I saw, it's just a reminder for adjust settings possibity and who want change car into a race !

Apart from Sophy not knowing how to drive the new cars, I only have one other problem with two of the hypercars. I find the hood camera for the Ferrari and the Peugeot way to high, a bit like with the Porsche 962C. I don't understand why they made that choice.

I actually find the Peugeot's funny simply because you can't miss that distinct mohawk intake/fin

But on a more serious note, I wonder if they just placed the Cameras where the aero part on the roofs are

So... I would have to run 18 perfect Tokyo Expressway WTC 600 races to afford the new 5 cars, right? You are a funny company PD, greetings from Forzokyo!

Nope. There's lots of other things you can do without being required to do that.

As I pointed out up-thread, if you'd done only the time trials and weekly challenges since the reveal announcement on May 23rd, you'd have enough credits. If you're not good/patient enough for time trial golds and could only get silver, the new Fishermans Ranch Circuit Experience added in the update and the additional weekly challenges from this week would take you within one grind race in the Spa WTC800 if you were so desperate. Though if you'd spread all of that out so you were doing a Daily Marathon most days, odds are you'll have landed enough tickets to get one 1,000,000cr bump.

If you've also got the Power Pack already, the Challenges from that would have sent you well past without needing the time trials, though that is paid DLC of course.

I know because... I did. I only really do WCs and PPCs week to week, and I went from 83m on May 22nd to 96m on June 8th. No grinding, and no TTs even (which, as there were five ending between May 23rd and June 11th, would have added 10m for golds, or 5m for silvers).

Driving modern hypercars around Le Mans just feels right. The game very much feels complete now, so any extra additions from this point on is a bonus. The car I like most is the 499P because it's the historic 2023 Le Mans winner and a brand new car to me. I didn't think I'd be experiencing the car for the first time in Gran Turismo. Second best is the 963 because it's the 2024 WEC Driver's Champion with a certain A.Lotterer above the door and has a great sound. Third is the BMW because I love the brand and the handling is good, but it loses a few brownie points because it's the slowest of the bunch. Last but not least is the Peugeot because it's French with the most interesting design, however I don't like the way it handles. It seems to lack balance, which was a bit of problem around Fuji Speedway. I spun it 3 times. Still, 4 new hypercars being handed out before the big race itself is perfect PR. It also puts the nail in the coffin for Project Motor Racing because the hypercars in that game were a massive disappointment. PD have saved the day once again.

Thanks, this is what I have said multiple times to people complaining about grinding too. If you mindlessly grind what yields the most credits per minute, you deserve the bore out that's coming to you.
GT7 has the wrong incentive structure, so you have to choose wisely how you play the game.

Managed to grind all of the new Hypercars into my garage now, after selling loads of my cars and going back over all the old circuit experiences I hadn’t golded yet. I’ve given up on the Eiger Nordwand one-lap attack though, I just can’t do it. I’m hauling that Alfa Romeo through those hairpins perfectly, lining up the corners perfectly, and I’m still half a second off over a lap little over a minute. I just don’t know what I can do to improve. I did the Le Mans Touring Car 700 as an alternative (you end up with almost a million credits if you win) and I ended up second after ending up out of sequence on pitstops. Aargh. I just need the Toyota now to complete the set. I sat up till about 1am last night doing all this.

And I don’t begrudge the need to grind at all because it’s completely reminded me how great this game is.

One thing I haven’t actually done yet is drive any of the new cars!

So out of all the new hypercars, which one is more fun to drive, which one is more faster?. I am looking to collect all at some point once I have enough credits.

I thought it was great back when you could still race Tokyo using the Tomahawk.
800k credits in 20 minutes—that was a fantastic opportunity. Especially the sense of speed.

Once they "fixed" it, I stopped running that race.

Just yesterday, I gave it another shot with the modified Espace F1.
That brought back a bit of that feeling from four years ago.

Which car did you use for the 700 PP race?
Even when playing on Hard, there are cars that guarantee a win—provided you stay on the track.

The cars that always work for me are the Red Bull Jr., the Aston Martin DP-100 VGT, and the Mercedes W 196R.

I detuned a Ferrari GT3 that was already in my garage slightly. My mistake was not pitting at the end of lap two, instead waiting till the tank was empty at the end of lap three. It meant I had to pit just as the timer ran out which dropped me to second. Had I pitted once lap two and then ran 3laps, stopped again and filled up I’d have got to the end with only the two stops. I think.

The Ferrari's fuel consumption is too high.
For the Aston, one stop is enough. I think the junior Red Bull can manage without any stops at all, provided it doesn't rain.

16 races on Sardegna A, that is basically 8 hours (or a week playing 1 hour daily) , nothing exhaustive (more considering they are on brand central and won't be on rotation like used/legendary cars)

I’m not as adept at Group 1 speeds, and I don’t have the Porsche yet, but the Peugeot is pretty fun, and rotates better than the BMW and Ferrari. It has the better straight speed of those 3 as well.

Reducing the BMW’s rear aero made it feel snappier when lifting or braking, however it’s a bit unstable, and for some reason only has ~640 HP, which makes me believe it may be a little slower.

Thanks, that may sway me to purchase the peugeot first then.

Which update brought back the cold tire indicator?

Was it GT3 or GT4? It was great that the hard tires took longer to warm up than the soft ones.

However, the indicator in GT7 is a bit too faint. I only noticed it when I was standing half a meter away from the TV. That faint blue around the tire is almost invisible from 3 meters away, especially when the ideal temperature is displayed in white.
