4th anniversary was 3 days ago, and by the time update is available, it will be 8 days, and the post from Kaz says nothing about the anniversary.

Where are people getting the idea that this is an "Anniversary Update"? And why are we celebrating 2nd, 3rd and 4ths when 5ths, 10ths, 15ths and 20ths and so forth are the ones that actually get celebrations? Are people that impatient for anniversaries now?

I thought that too, or maybe the Penske Trans Am car, but the hood pins seem to be flush mounted, if they are indeed hood pins. Both those cars have have the protruding style with the keyring, from what I've seen. So I was thinking a PD RM version

I feel like the silhouette is too low slung to be this (or any other standard ride height Camaro).

The door handle is also too sleek; the silhouette has its handle jut out quite noticeably.

It doesn't have those prominent lines that start from the top of the wheel arch and continue towards the rear. Same goes for the RM version from GT5.

I don't know why we would have a less prestigious version than the Z28 (Base / RS / SS), so definitively the Stielow Engineering Red Devil. It could be an other creation from Stielow though...

Um what? This might be true in case of Bugatti (and even then it‘s a stretch) but most definitely not for hypercars such as the Valkyrie or the AMG One.

It's not even true for the Veyron. I saw one getting absolutely launched up Prescott Hill Climb in 2008 by Pierre-Henri Raphanel, which unofficially broke the course record and they hold proper competitive hillclimbing there with dedicated machines.

The side fold doesnt match. It is 100% somekind of 1969 Camaro. Only year with that fold on the side. Propably a low-slung TransAm..

I want to bet that the Captur will be a PD technical demo of the Renault E-Tech features, but after looking it up, I don't know if it's anything special. The RAV4 had a unique torque control system and the Qashqai demonstrated the backup engine mechanism for an electric-biased hybrid. I might be missing something about Renault.

The 2nd generation Captur is really pretty though. That rear end is simply fantastic. It could also double as this brand's GT debut of their new design language with the facelift model. I think the Esprit Alpine trim would be the best version to record for this purpose. As long as it doesn't have tuning restrictions, this car should have mileage amongst ordinary players.

My all-in bet on the other hand is that it'll be a UKDM model just like the Qashqai and Peugeot 2008.

Absolutely not. Even though it's the same generation of the same car, we're talking 11 years of difference, so it will surely feel different.

Personally, I've always liked the early FDs way more than the later ones, so I'm really glad the OG is returning.

It’s just like the Nissan GT-R. The day the original 2007 model arrives there will be a lot of people complaining it’s a straight up duplicate, but trust me, it won’t be.

I like new cars to use, but imo, the cars in this anniversary update should be more like the following, these have only appeared in one GT game (I'm pretty sure this is correct).
Honda NSX-R LM GT2 '95 - GT1
Mitsubishi GTO LM Edition '99 - GT2
Tommykaira ZZII '00 - GT3
Toyota Motor Triathlon Race Car '04 - GT4
Nissan 370Z Tuned Car '08- GT5
Nissan DeltaWing - GT6

Only the Tommykaira ZZII is good enough from your list. Good memories from GT3-4-5-6.

Alright update. Classic muscle cars are always a welcome addition, there should be more American cars in Gran Turismo.

Except some American muscle cars were harder to control, and still are in GT7, as an amateur the Japanese 4wd were the easiest road cars in the earlier games.
