I just hope there will be a playable version of the Nurburgring...

What I learnt today is that dude can drive a train, quite a long entertaining journey but still made it safely and successfully.

Hopefully I manage to get hold of tickets for the main event.

That's... that's, I mean, if there weren't an active swear filter here I'd say what I'm actually thinking to myself - that's just something else entirely. Fawesome.

So my guess is that they'll end this event by saying "see you at E3" and that is where we'll get the release date of the public beta (Very possibly that same day) and full game.

Definitely makes sense to have their own event for what they can't squeeze into a 5 minute stage presentation but save the big announcements for that big stage.

Or they could launch the beta at the event next week, and announce the release date of the full game at E3.

If they're confident enough to hold public competitions with the game as it is, I don't see why they would wait until E3 to launch the beta.

Just want to say thanks to @SlipZtrEm, @AJ, @Terronium-12, and everyone else for all the teasing and .gif related japery and entertainment from today! :gtpflag:

Thank you (and everyone else that enjoyed it) for making it so successful. This is part of what makes GTPlanet so great!

I'm excited for those who will be going. I won't be attending – someone's got to man the fort! – but @Jordan won't be the only GTPlanet face there.

Gradients are soooooo '90s.

And the '90s were the best, so I'm cool with this trend.

That gradient is so very aesthetic. Makes sense, Kaz did say he wanted to make the next representative of the current year when it releases.

Vaporwave for GT Sport is all but confirmed at this point. @el fayce

Guys, why are you all so excited over something so lame?!

Honestly, now.
I have to admit, at first I did feel disappointed. But then I realised that this is an event that will reveal a new trailer, game information, gameplay and even have the staff up for Q&A. All at once. That's kind of never happened before. And it's only a week away!! :D

If the surprise was something appearing tonight it would only have been one thing, and we would be waiting a damn sight longer than a week for all the rest.

So, roll on next week :)

I love that it's the same old people saying "This is lame" and "Is that all?" This is amazing news.

You guys can be salty in a corner or something.
Let's face it, an announcement of an announcement is kind of lame. But in this context, where the big old hibernating bear that is PD at last has woken up and coming out of it's cave with style, is indeed big and great news.

I'm looking forward to tuning in and see what is revealed and shown during the stream. Not having high hopes or expectations, although I wouldn't mind being 'blown away'. I like being surprised.

Are you happy now, guys? After all these months, 250 pages with 15 pages just for today, (plus my absence here since January with last week as an exception), we finally have an announcement for the announcement.

Its like a teaser trailer for a trailer for a movie. But its 6 days ahead so kudos to @Jordan i guess.
