So what are people expecting from the trailer? Rockstar confirmed it will be a T.V. advert so I can't imagine it being more than 30 seconds long.

I wouldn't be surprised if it is the "Cops like" FIB video, that was pulled from this site pretty quickly, the other day. It told about the gangs, and gang activity, it was pretty entertaining.

If it's going to be an advert it needs to be short and meaningful and that's quite a lengthy video that would be hard to break down into something short and meaningful. I hope it's not that, I want to see something new.

I just clocked 20 hours of GTA 5 game play. It's not awesome but just OK. I'm playing non stop since it was unlocked.

I would post some videos showing running game on my ps3 but they would probably be turned down on you tube and my account blocked.

And that would also collide with spoilers showing on this forum, and my account here would be probably banned as well. Because most of you don't want to see any spoilers. And i totally understand your need to play it by yourself.

Game looks decent, cars behave like in GTA, it's hard to control them sometimes. Missions are quite boring, i've seen those in previous GTA games, like in GTA 4 and Sand Andreas.

Go, kill, beat up, rob, stab, or threaten someone, get money, steal car or boat. Things like this. So nothing new here. Well maybe with retrieving drugs from sunken ship is something new, but it's like one mission out of all I've already did. But many more to come.

20 hours of gameplay equals 34 % in game progress so i think it's long game, but i enjoy sometimes the views. I walk with people, listen what they have to say, observe how they behave. So this is like half that time i've played missions and rest is just side seeing. Driving cars, bikes, etc.

Game is decent 👍

Upload gameplay to dropbox, mediafire, vimeo. Plenty of places to try that is if your telling the truth. You don't need to post links here either so you wouldn't be banned, you could just say search something in google for example.

Really....?

I'd call it a lie though :yuck:

I agree, and would like to see something new as well.

Really, I rather be playing it now, but, you know.

Are you being serious ?

I don't think he is... In another thread he said this about GTA 5

It sucks badly, just slightly upgraded graphics, but mechanics are mainly from previous games. Genius, you should know that if company decide to add another number after title like GTA it's just going to be another reheated cutlet/chop. 👎

But Last of Us? There were no game like that, it features new ideas, great graphics awesome adventure. And I've already know what to expect from GTA5 - Jesus Ch. Christ .... again ???

It's clearly more than 'slightly upgraded graphics' :dunce: I don't know.. seems weird to me, I doubt he could play the game early anyway. I guess I'll believe it when I see it.

i think we should start forming a group(like the lost biker gang) so when the game comes out we can start cruising and exploring the vast map gta 5 claims the map to be together

Slashfan
I think most of us just want to explore and do our own thing first in single player and then hop online. Of course I can't speak for everyone but from what I'm gathering that's how most of the guys in this thread feel.
Wait wait.. isn't the online feature released two weeks AFTER the main release?

It was alright... I liked the look of the Juggernaut suit.

EDIT: Tanks confirmed near the end of the trailer.

Anyone who knows anything about how a game is put together will know it's not just the same thing, what more did he expect? idiot...

I love how the minigun sounds!! But yeah, I was hoping for more too. However, at this point unless there's something ridiculously ground breaking R* hasn't told us yet, there's not much more they can do to get us anymore hyped up for the game. I mean how many millions of pre-orders are there? I think R* is just gonna sit back and let us count down the days to the release, then revel in the praise in the days following the release. They've done their work, we're psyched and they're just as excited to see their fans play a game they worked so hard on.

I decided to pre-order the game in order to guarantee a chance to play it on launch day.

I don't believe you. How did you get your hands on it? BTW, how's that boring? I've played GTA III and that got boring fast after a while, so there's no way GTA V could possibly be boring. Maybe to you, but I like to twist things up a bit.

I guess a massive new map, new story, new characters, new vehicles, being able to fly, being able to dive, new huge online mode, new customization options, new weapons, properties to buy, businesses and much more isn't enough. :dunce:

Pretty much. I'm still playing GTA: SA after 5 Years. I'm still not tired of it.

Same here :dopey: I enjoy just driving around with that soundtrack alone.

It's beyond me how anyone can't be interested in this game, or at least admire just the scale of what Rockstar have achieved here.

The trailer didn't interest me too much, glad to finally see tanks though. Unless they show a race track, my hype can't build anymore than it is. My birthday is a week before the release, but that's completely irrelevant and not of importance at all with this release so close!

I'll join whatever GTP GTA5 crews there will be 👍 I absolutely love that the desert/badlands are coming back. With the possibility of custom race checkpoints we'll be able to make rally raid style races through the desert, plus dune buggies

LMAO, you mean to tell me not one person on GTAForums, Reddit, or even 4Chan is reporting an actual leaked copy yet you have it. And right on cue, you already have an excuse as to why you can't prove it.

Oh, we exist. It's just people apparently can't cope with the concept that there's nothing to excite us and try to bark us down. Check back a month in this very thread...

And I'm even almost a fan of the series - Vice City's in my top ten games ever - but there are people who are actively against any Grand Theft Auto game because it's a GTA game. And people who don't game. In fact, in total, there's about 6.9 billion people who aren't interested in any way in GTAV.

I suspect it'll be empty and dreary - following on from the emptiness of SA and the dreariness of 4 - but I hope it won't be, because the series needs a good game after so long without one. But either way, I'm not going to buy it until long, long after the hype has died down. If people are still playing it by Christmas, I'll think about it.
