The Placement Formula: A is worth 2, B is worth 1, D is -1, and F -2. C votes carry no swing weight, but they are included in the total votes. So you add it all together, then divide by the total votes, and that results in a number between 2 and -2. The results thread also distinguishes into 7 sections. These sections correlate to that resulting number. They are, in order: 2.00 to 1.56 (A+), 1.55 to 1.00 (A), 0.99 to 0.11 (B), 0.10 to -0.10 (C), -0.11 to -0.99 (D), -1.00 to -1.55 (F), -1.56 to -2.00 (F-).
