Hi Guys, I've changed my PSN name, do I need to update that somewhere for fetchy or the registry or something?

I had a quick look through the guide/FAQ threads ( apologies if I've just been blind and missed the section I need ) but I couldn't see anything on PSN name changes.

Cheers, Phil.

Start a new conversation with the admin guys and it will get updated.
Include your new PSN in signature and maybe remind members when posting replays so they know what name to look for.

i do on pc though ...

Awesome  I haven't looked it up but I'm assuming there aren't massive differences between the PC/Console version.

I spent about an hour putting in custom setups - I've yet to actually turn a wheel lol, I figure that's the biggest area I will need to work on for this game, learning to set up a car without GT's sometimes quirky set up directions.

Looking forward to it though :)

Yeah it had a bit more depth but i like how it promotes smooth driving instead of gt where you sometimes can/have to be very agressive.

Hey guys just wanted to say thanks to the organisers for keeping this going this year, I know it takes a decent amount of effort to run and I appreciate the work you guys put in, I've really enjoyed taking part.
Happy holidays to everyone and hope you all have a good new year

Pick up Porsche this weekend.

What kind of kart did you used?

They were electric karts made by OTL Electrokart in Vacil, Italy. Supposed to go 50 mph. Seemed to go that speed.

@EDK drove based on instinct, no brake or gas markers. Just did what felt/looked right. Kicked ass, old guys (57) can still go fast. My wife wanted me to go slow and let other people win. F that.

Hey there fellas. I was just going through my password manager to clean things up and got to gtplanet, thought I'd stop by for a look. Sometimes I miss this place quite a bit, but I just can't get myself to invest in a new wheel. Great to see so many of the "old timers" still here, this is still the best online community I've been a part of. Keep it up guys, and have a good one. I hope life is treating you all well.

Hi all 👍

I thought I would update in here to let people know why I am not taking part in the WRS of late.. for years now I have been suffering from a strange affliction on my hands feet and elbows where if I race or do gardening or simply moving large items and my fingers would swell up severely with an insane itch that would last for days and cover my hands and feet... It never stopped me racing but I would pay the price after a good session! I have been using antihistamines and allergy tablets for years whenever it flared up but they never really helped .. was best to just let it run its course and usually about 5 days to a week it would eventually go away ... but it would always come back :(

anyway after lots of tests and suggestions of hives or bad diet or any other silly suggestion that could be a possibility was put to me, now I have a diagnosis at last and the culprit is called pressure urticaria which is basically something I will have to live with until I am pushing up the daisies  It's more mental torture thing when it's doing it's thing and can drive you mad when it's there but at last I have the name of this silly weird ailment 👎

So as a consequence I have cut out racing completely be it online or the wrs and limited pretty much most things that are not a necessity.. I still work part time and do the gardening at home and decorate etc.. but that damn wheel makes my fingers swell up like sausages to often haha.. I might race again someday if I find a way to avoid this reaction but for now I'm out to pasture 👍 I have no life threatening injuries and in reasonable health for a 50 year old I'm still not smoking after 18 months and even lost over 2 stone on a strict sub 1000 calories per day diet.. I am doing well it's just the hands that are problematic ;) I thought I should explain my non activity. I want to take part just the cost of racing is too high to pay...

I hope everyone is in good health and enjoying life and hopefully the WRS stays strong and keeps going for years to come! Take it easy guys and cya down the road sometime

Regards Ron.

I ordered a couple of pairs of medical gloves for sensitive old farts like me and should have them by Tuesday... hopefully they stop the sausage fingers and I can unpack the wheel again asap 👍 I had to find some kind of solution quickly as I was getting fed up losing on casino's as a pass time when bored haha

@Mr P How are the gloves? Did you have a chance to test them out yet? Hope they offer some comfort to the extend that you can run some laps again.
