How hard can it be to update Spa-Francorchamps?

Wasn't Daytona already updated?

The only problem I see with Daytona is that it's a little too dark overall (unless it's like that IRL).

/off topic.

The "Bus Stop" on the road course hasn't been updated either, and Indy road course has changed layout as well. I'd prefer those to be updated over a simple color inconsistency. So long as they don't model the paved runoff that has been added to the "Parabolica" at Monza.

Oh, and one game that was missed above when listing the tracks that have Spa correct is Assetto Corsa.

Am I the only one that feels like this seems like the video game equivalent of a first world problem?

Daytona hasn't been updated since 2008 (Apart from now having Day & Night transition and weather). The Road Course has been resurfaced, the bus stop chicane is much shorter (along with much shorter curbing) and the Asphalt on the oval is much darker.

Thanks fellas for clearing that up as I was unsure myself 👍

Cheers

Indianapolis is the one that needs the biggest update, in the real world section at least.

Laguna Seca needs a tweak too as the Corkscrew is too severe. Spa's colour palette is minuscule in comparison.

Out of all the missing and lack thereof features, you're complaining about the color of the kerbs on track? You think they need to update the Nurburgring because the track graffiti isn't 100% authentic?
I did not know he was complaining, just asking a question. He could have put it in the Kaz Q&A though..

If they did update the kerb colours to Shell red and yellow then they could put the Greenpeace anti Shell protesters from last years F1 race in too... Preferably as dynamic graphics.

Project CARS: Kerps in yellow-red

Forza Motorsport 5: Kerps in yellow-red

F1 2013: Kerps in yellow-red

GRID Autosport: Kerps in yellow-red

Where is Gran Turismo?

Forza makes me laugh. It looks like total crap for an Xbox one game and look at the shifts hahahahaha. And the colors. What a joke.

Complaining about this is like screaming in a vacuum.

Hopefully nowhere, would be a complete waste of time to even think about changing them.

From 3 of my friends that have raced there in real life. All three said the corkskrew isn't steep enough. I've never been there so I can't comment other than saying it definitely doesn't look like a 59ft drop to me on the game.

@EDK What do you think about the corkscrew in the game?

On topic. I do think the Spa rumble strips should be re done as it seems like it would be a quick fix. I do see other track updates as more substantial as others have said but if it's an easy fix just get it done quickly.

I'm not sure if that track configuration is from 2006, because the F1 always raced in the "two hairpins course".

lolwut?

About the kerbs being the wrong color, like many have said, it's too small an issue for PD to even care about at this moment. It'll be updated soon enough, but not anytime soon I suppose.

This is what bugs me. PD is bothering to update the unneeded Sarthe Circuit while forgotting the corner changing circuits. Just saying.

Waste of time.
thats why I put could, meaning other, more important things to add should come first..

I'm not saying that I don't want to have it updated. I want to have it updated but I was just wondering. If it was an waste of time, then I'm sorry.
no, thats exactly the same thing I say. I would love every track to be updated when a change occurs. But if it's a waste of time to add something like 24hr-live timming- weather, id prefer that...

Yeah seriously?

Don't update the most famous track in the world?

Yeah, what?
Im saying that PD should focused more on actually corner changing tracks rather than just cosmetics of the track itself. If for example the indianapolis and daytona.

Im not even care about the track appearances at this point. Whats the point of ex. putting more Michelin sponsors or painting existing kerbs while some tracks still doesn't have updated layout. (Though the last one I think isn't that hard for PD to patch though.)
