I used the X1 last night in the dreamcar challenge. It's great for racking up XPs and cash.

Hmm, thanks for the nice responses. Guess, I fail completely in proper car-settings. Even in a PEUGEOT 908 my best is 41:xxx, which was quick enough to win the Jaguar XJ13 though.

yeah where's the money? been doing b-spec dream car championship... few measly just over 1 mil?

j/k i know it'll end soon.

on side note i need an X1but you probably have all i have

Those seasonal races are difficult.

They may be difficult but lots of fun to do them.
The first pack ends tomorrow. The last 3 events are easier than the first two (At least to get gold...)
You may check the debate on the best modifications for each car on the Seasonal Event Races Thread.
Lots of Credits and XP!
I've done the first race of Bonus Race Nº2 and all the races of Nº1 (4 Golds and 2 Silvers). When i've started (Before buying any car for it) i was on level 6 of XP and less than 250.000Cr, when finished i had around 2.000.000 Crd and XP level 20.
Don't give up on them ;)

Um Abraço.

If you gold both races that's 5.000.000 cr, it's not worth it to race them because they don't matter in Trophies. Waste of time

I Recomend Do the Indy Race of American Championship
5 Laps to Indy in American Cars (Ford GT Test Car & Corvette ZR1 RM are Some of the Better Options to Complete this Event Witout Sweap)
117.000 per Race in Less than 4 Minutes

The Other Option is the DreamCar Championship, but Sometimes U Feel in Middle pf the Event than They Will Never End.

I'm so sick of grinding the 117,000 oval.

I've since moved on to the European event on Deep Forest for 99,000, but it's getting old too (and you can't use any Japanese cars).

WHY, WHY, WHY are there no fun races to do for credits? If I remember correctly, Prologue had more events that I could repeat without being bored.

How about some events for 100k on the Nordschleife? Fuji? Suzuka? All manufacturers.

The seasonal events have been the only thing I've really fun fun so far, and I'm not able to drive my favourite track (Nordschleife) to earn real money.

How about 250,000 credits, all manufacturers, on the ring? COME ON!

In addition to that I have a question… I saw on my profile that I had like 20 some Gold Trophies and like 4 Silver Trophies after completing 3 of my licenses… I have really bad OCD when it comes to crap like this and planned on just going back and redoing the 4 license tests I had a Silver Trophy in once I connected my wheel (just hurried up and played with the controller last night)… I just rushed through them and didn’t try again for a better time or anything, but when I go to redo those Silver Trophies, will it replace those Silver Trophies with Golds so that my profile will then say 30 Golds 0 Silvers and 0 Bronze or am I stuck with those 4 Silver Trophies on my profile?

YOU ARE STUCK! You need to delete your save and start over....

Actually, they stay at the highest level you have achieved - you will see those numbers shift the more silver and golds you get.

My only gripe is that the $ earned for racing online is crap. $5000-$15,000 for 5-10 laps of any track is just not fair. They need to bump up the payout by x10 or x15. I say this because the constant grinding on Indy to make $ AorB spec is starting to make me like this game less and less every day. Its just not fair that I have to be forced into 2 hours grinding to buy more cars I want before I can enjoy 1-2 hours driving online. :grumpy::mad::mad::mad:

After about 28 grinds (sessions) at Indy last night I finally hit $20 Mil. Feels pretty awesome although that's the cap - you can't have more than that.

Once I got used to b-spec, that's all I use to grind for credits. I b-spec when I eat, clean my new set of rims(which is used, so its a pain to clean), take a shower, brush my teeth, etc. Basically anytime I can't use my G27. Its the easiest I think, specially when you hit the extreme series

I apologise if it's been already mentioned but I find that the two fastest ways to make credits are:
A spec, Like the Wind, 84k in about 3 minutes. Rinse and repeat.
B spec, the Dream car championship, win the first 4, start and then quit the 5th race and win the championship. That's about 4 x 108k plus 540k for the championship. So about 1 million cr for just over 1 hour.

With both I'm using the X2010, you can win with other cars though it just takes a little longer.

I agree the American champ is the best for quick cash once you get a tuned rm corv you can just put it into 6th and bash round at every corner.... I mean brake drop a gear and take the racing line 

Now that I reached a high enough level, I prefer my grinds on the Extreme Series Dreamcar Championship at Indy:

6:42 (using FGT no X1 :( ) / 108,000 cr / 9819 xp

This. Even better if you do the entire series, it gives you over 1 million credits and almost 50k experience.

You can paint it in whatever colour you want as long as you have the paint item, so I don't see what the big fuss is.

I can't paint stripes onto my Cobra prize car that came in the wrong color (red) without them. And the only way for me to get a Guardsman Blue color chip is to have a Cobra in that color, so that means either an ability to re-win it, which isn't there, or buying it. Sucks. (I can understand winning a car once, but then let us pick the color combo dammit)

Not really. Using the FGT my progress went as follows (hopefully my math isnt too wrong) :

Indy - 6:42 / 108,000cr / 9819xp
Monza - 15:18 / 108,000cr / 18,868xp
Tokyo R246 - 19:16 / 108,000cr / 16,355xp
De La Sarth - 10:17 / 108,000cr / 12,316xp
Nordscheliefe - 27:47 / 108,000cr / 26,946xp

Chapionship Bonus 540,000cr

Total Series Time - 402+918+1156+617+1667=4760 seconds = 79:20
Total Series cr - 108k x 5 = 540,000 + Bonus = 1,080,000 cr
Total Series xp - 9819+18,868+16,355+12,316+26,946 = 84,304xp

Total Series/minuet ~ 13,670cr/minuet, 1067xp/minuet

But

Indy only /minuet ~ 16,216cr/minuet, 1,474xp/minuet

Doing Indy only, nets me 3k credits and 400xp more per minuet and you dont wait for the next map to load. Sure Indy can get a bit boring but atm I'd rather do Indy then Nordscheliefe.

Still. It's a million credits each time. At this rate I'll have 20 million in a couple days. You get get 20million in a single day if you only slept 4 hours.

Also, it's minute, not minuet

And you're doing the A-spec. I'm letting my B-spec bob run it. That's why your times seem a little quick.

Yeah, the latest seasonal "Races" (Not the time trial or drift thing) net you quite a bit and should be called "Cheesonal" because they're so easy. On the last race of the lastest seasonal you get 1.8 million for finishing 1st.

Once those were done I use my lvl 36 Bspec to whip up on the Dream car championship in the X1. I do 1st 4 races, the start 5th and quit. Like someone else said it works out to nearly a million/hour.

One way is in the expert series, the turbo races. I've been using the veyron (quad turbo!) for the high speed ring race, it's only three laps and you get about 54,000 credits.

Dream car Championship. 108000 cr. (970000 after four races, exit the last one after it starts) more experience than american indy +the used cars not changing a lot + you are not getting bored a lot ++++good for B-Spec too

i do this also

i take every time different LM car and so i dont get bored

driving around in circle for few hours not so fun, while dream car championship is fun, and gets you nice money/xp
