Maintaining increased rewards from 1.05 update - permanently

If you are interested in receiving increased monetary and experience rewards from races, simply play offline and don't update when 1.06 comes out in January 2011.

Really the XP is more of a problem than the money side of things; although I'm glad they are at least listening to what we are saying about it.

And I suppose you have to set your internal clock back too... the thrustmaster support apparently hit those who didn't even have online so was system clock locked.

Money wouldn't be as big of an issue if I could sell the expensive prize cars that I don't want. I have two Cizeta v16t's. I don't even care to have 1.

That's fine if you don't wish to play online. Would also mean that you would be unable to download the extra A spec races when they appear

Who's to say it won't go even higher in the future?

They're either doing 2 things:

1) Too many people complained so they raised the output.

or

2) Want to give the Christmas players a way to catch up in order to compete with the Release guys.

Interesting, but I think we are able to build already an immense ammount of money until that!

And, it's fun to get some hard times. If not like that, everything would be "so" easy.

I love the inclusion of XP in online My lounge and Open lobby now. That's awesome. If they really want to enforce proper online play, they should give us an option to deduct XP points for crappy people who get on to just try and crash into other players...LOL

i got the game on nov. 24th, but I feel so left behind from everyone else, seeing as i don't grind, i just wallow into online or something, I bet that 117k from indy is finally gonna give me the edge to want to get the fgt

If you need XP, do the seasonal races.
It require skills, but its a lot of fun and gives loads of XP.

Its also a good way to get cash.

Its sad though that it seems that they refresh only every 2 weeks.
