PD skipped one update in January and February plus a track, so one can only imagine what the next upcoming update on Monday/Tuesday will include.

Me, personally, I want an apology letter opened up when I launch the GT home screen, similar to the 2012 Christmas letter we received. However, unlike the last time being just words, I want it to be a video with Kaz looking in the camera to his customers. Not off point to accentuate a point, but staring down the barrel at hundreds of pissed of consumers. A good apology is needed from these "promised" additions and updates to the game. Or even a video of him describing where he sees PD at right now, and what they want to be working on.....

And I swear to (deity), if the first thing he says isn't sounds I'm done..

It has been zero communication from an employee of PD since December. They've rushed others from SCEA to fill in, giving no information ahead of time.

SCEA deserves an apology for making a representative of theirs look like an idiot on a live stream, unable to give good answers to a large fan base. That "round table" discussion is really what made my nerves twitch when they couldn't represent for themselves..

They may be testing the update on monday and update the game on tuesday, i'm expecting Zahara and community features.

I'd be happy with just Zahara and some supercar though.

To clarify the update time for everyone that may be confused regarding the usual maintenance time and this week's maintenance.

The maintenance is happening 24hrs earlier than every previous week so far.

I can't decide whether I'd be more optimistic for an update if they hadn't announced anything. PD has a nasty case of Foot In Mouth disease, every time they say or even hint that something might happen, it tends not to.

Explain why it's the only maintenance in 3 months to get an announcement, and why it's on a different day from the "regular" maintenance.

PD don't announce everything they release, you must be thinking of a less spontaneous game development team.

Although as Jordan said, they do often release big updates right after maintenance periods.

Your pessimism hurts my head.

They usually say that servers will be unstable etc. but never "not be possible". If there is no connection, that indicates [to me] online features being upgraded.

I sure hope I'm right.

I don't think GT6 will be getting a substantial online upgrade before GT5's online component is turned off. I think the community features will come in the Senna May update and activated later in the month when when maximum server capacity is available with GT5 switch off.

I sure hope you're wrong with this. This is the only feature I'm waiting for - it would suck to have to wait months more for it to come.
