About that superbowl, I read on a thread they going to make publicity for the PSP instead of 1 game (GT4)

I don't know if this is true, I just read it on an other thread

Not that it really matters, but I've started to see Gran Turismo 4 advertisements during the Toronto Raptors basketball games. If you look at the courtside rolling advertisements long enough you'll see it, along with the Playstation 2 Logo. No date or anything but at least they've started advertising in this area. Soon I hope.

EB is right, not sure about gamestop or wal-mart, but bestbuy is 3/16. I have a pre-order slip from them saying 3/16.

Anyways, I was wondering where Cosmic heard that GT4 will not be released in America around mid-march.

In the midwest (IN, IL, OH, MI) all games, cd's, dvd's and so on are leased on Tuesdays, so that would be either February 8th, 15th, 22nd, March 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd. I'm pretty sure that could be for the entire US excluding Hawaii and Alaska. So I hate to burst anyone's bubbles but those are the ONLY days that it would be released on sale in a retail store. But it'll be out when it's out.

Um, go back to grade school and brush up on a skill, its called reading comprehension... I never said that they had the correct release date, I was simply saying which of his dates were right or wrong. Like BestBuy, that date was wrong, bestbuy is saying (as of now) that is coming out 3/16, not 2/23.

I have a Best Buy slip too. Mine says 11/24/04.

Point is that no one knows when its coming out. I'm not going to believe any date I see untill I hear an official announcement from SCEA.

👍 But mine was bought waaaaay after yours, so my slip is the "most up to date". Yea it MIGHT change, but as of now thats the date

when the PAL version is released it will not take long for US. And the longer you wait the better probably.

Watch the US version gets no additional features, fewer cars and the most bugs.

Anyway I imported mine, one more day and I'll be in GT4 heaven.

why it will have fewer cars and more bugs. That is something you just make up at the moment. You'll have to wait longer then PAL so you'll probably get more. I just read in an other thread the Chrysler 300C 2005 is going to be in so it will be surely in the US version aswell.

They had better make the 300C the Hemi version, otherwise you might as well put an Abrams tank in GT4 to give it something to compete with.
