I haven't yet played this seasonal and want to try it with my beloved 2002 Turbo when I'm back home.

....This was a good Seasonal used 74 Lambo XJ13 & Ford GT .
Ring was the most fun with the last track not been so good do not have a good set up for XJ13 or Ford GT...

I used the GT40 race car with 55% power, after the first race decided to detune and use RH to give some competion.

Well, for me, used the '70 Dodge Challenger, Race Modified, and nothing else, ie using Sports Hard tires. Had to detune it a little in HP to meet the requirements...

Made me a run for my money in Rome, the Miuras at the front are very very fast. I actually never had raced before with the Charger, had to modify default gear ratio (210 mph top speed by default!) and harden a little the suspension, but then won not that easily. But I only raced Rome, I think the other tracks will be easier to the Charger. I could put better tires, but the car is a lot of fun to drive in this tires

Had another go today with Stratos after a hr or so trying to get a good setup.
used a a Hi RPM turbo with just over 300 hp set top speed to 170 Mph.

Use softs on the back meds on the front came 4th first time & 3 at 2nd attempt after some changes even though a got up to 3 on last attempt cars was not driving as well as the first time around.


Then a I picked up a 2J had enough creds that car is like a slot racer flew around the ring even with added waight & down tuned.

Now I need to get the 2D

Used the RM'd Challenger, great fun & a nice challenge too. Set top speed to 150ish and detuned, nordschief was a laugh

Used the Stratos first as well with sports hard, without success. Will try again later dropping a couple of pounds.

Who said the races are easy, are probably using sports soft for tires.

Had to use the Miura to win. Got pretty close with the Cobra.

I've been trying out a lot of different cars for the events.

Got a tuned Dome Zero Concept '78, that is great on some Sport Softs.

Handles like a dream and quick too.


Now I have to find some other fun older cars to race with.

Raced on SS Route 5 and Mount Aso with the same Challenger RM Sports Hard and are pretty easier than Rome.

Great races. You should try them with a stock Miura on Sport hard tyres. Was kind of hard on Nurburgring if you screw up somewhere.

Am I the only one who thinks the Mt. Aso track in this seasonal is really bad?

I had an absolute blast driving the 512BB! Since my car was a bit over-powered I chose to try and drift all the corners since this car is drift-happy. It is also very easy to control while drifting. Give it a go, definitely worth running through at least once over with this car!

I've only had a go on Rome so far, used my 240Z on RH (450pp) but it's nowhere near fast enough to catch the Miuras - I managed 4th.

More power required! I Don't think my trusty Honda Z is going to pull it off this time...though I'm tempted to try it around Rome to see if I can beat the lardy Jensons

The tracks selected don't help lighter, low power cars, some top speed mandatory, specially because of the Miuras.

In my seasonal event menu at Nordschleife it says 7 laps. I haven't had time to race yet but i'm assuming it's a mistake and it will just be 1 lap right? 7 laps would be really cool though!

So happy I can compete on the Nordschleife now using:

Corvette Stingray ' 69 for the win. Sport Softs, custome tranny to top at 250km/hr (can go faster, but no need)

Lambo Miura with only exhaust (to semi-racing for the best sound, whereas full racing exhaust sounds horrendous) and intake upgrades. Racing hard on the front, Racing Medium on the rear, default suspension, no engine nor weight changes, ECU tune optional. enjoy!

The game wouldnt accept the Lancia Stratos '73, dunno know why.

Hope the Nordschleife comes at every seasonal!

Just finished The seasonals and I need to say great seasonal! did it with my BMW 2002 On Racing Hards and my DFGT . It's a nice Challenge

I know what you mean... It has to be the craziest track ever designed by PD for seasonal use...

Did 1 race with a Charger Super Bee, another one with the Charger RT, a 3rd one with a Superbird and 2 with a Lancia Stratos

Overall, Very epic seasonal ... My only complain would be that PD used a very small amount of cars for the lineup, just like the original event in A-Spec...

I bought the Coutach from the OCD and eventually won the first 2 events with it (London & SS5, both by less than 1 sec) Suzuka proved a little too tricky and the Muira's (3 of them!) were just too fast @ the Ring. I already had an LP on 550pp so I put sport hards on and won at the Ring by 4 sec. Then I got back into the TGTT challenge and can't get below 18.3 without the "Short Chicago". Then the time trials went with ease, but to be fair I did copy the car choice straight off the leaderboard (despite being nowhere near the times!) SS5 drift was fun, but I just can't nail La Sarthe

All in all though, a night's tough but rewarding racing, paid for the 2J I just bought, anyway!

And I've still got the Historic 5th track to sample!
