The race in the Nurgburgring is only 1 lap long, the race at Mt. Aso is the one with 7 laps

I tried out a tuned BMW 2002 on sports softs, its a little squirrely on acceleration and is much slower compared to the competition(mine has 430 PP) I was in 6th place entering lap 3 and spun on the first corner at Suzuka, I'm quite confident I can win and I'm going to try again later. This is a great seasonal!

Alfa TZ2 on the 'Ring - had to block on the final straight ( schumi would've been proud) then repass under braking, but it's an awesome drive on racing hards and 520pp

I used that through the entire seasonal. Could only manage second on nurb. Care was bone stock and really liked going on two wheels if you attacked the curbs. Couple more runs and i should be able to pull first, just need to adjust my curb crunching driving style.

I used my Shelby Cobra for this seasonal 👍

Using my Cobra for them as well. Was a bit tricky at Mt. Oso, since the tires didn't stay on the ground for half the front strech.

Just becareful with too much speed as the car tends to slide easily as with a rally car.

Used a 500PP Jaguar E type '61 on Sport Softs to win at Rome. Haven't tried it on the other tracks yet. Might need to switch to Racing tires of some sort because the cat requires such a delicate touch on both steering and throttle when using the SS tires, that I'm sure to stuff it somewhere.
Using SS tires I get into first place about 3/4 of the way through lap 5 if I don't mess up anywhere. On Race Soft tires I'm in the lead early on lap 4 and running away from them. Will post the tune for this car and my 550PP Superbird on Sport Softs that I've used to win all the races in my tuning garage soon. (See signature) Both cars are currently on share if anyone wants to try them out.

I've got some great 2 wheel shots from Nurb using this car - makes some extreme angles! What tyres are you using? Mine's got RH on - do these come as standard? (I guess I could check this myself). Also, I dropped in a stage 2 turbo (I know, I know...) since I didn't think I'd stand a chance with only 162 bhp.

Yeah using a bog stock Alfa Romeo GIULIA TZ2 on racing hard tyres on the nurburgring race is pretty challenging. I usually take the leading Lambo at the mini karosell, only to be overtaken by the lambo again on the straight, but then get back into first with late braking at the last few corners.

Sorry for the delayed response. Pretty sure it was on race hards right from my garage. I took it out for its first runs for this seasonal so it was how it came.from.the factory

Just posted a the tune for my 550PP Superbird. It can win on all tracks using Sports Soft tires.
Also posted a tune for my 500PP Jaguar E-Type '61. I've won at Rome on Sport Soft tires, but you'll probably need racing tires to win elsewhere.
Both cars are a blast to drive.

Tried it in a Fiat 500 earlier as well but it didn't get me anywhere

Although I kinda cheated the other events with Rome in the XJ13, SSR5 in the Mark IV, Nurb in the 330P4, and I also did Suzuka in a modified Miura.

I've seen the same thing happen. I was doing the race with a Shelby Cobra, and I lost count of all the times I crashed because of the Interceptors weaving on the straights, hitting me as I was trying to pass them.

So I got bored of using my RM Camaro and thought I'd give myself a proper challenge with the nurb race.

I went through my garage and noticed my '70 Chevelle SS. I then gave it a light tune, no engine or body modifications. I tried to keep the tuning on a level that could be actually done in real life. It now has 499PP.

My first lap was 8:13, I then fiddled a bit with the suspension and brake balance(kept sliding wide with 5/5, 3/7 helped with that) and got a lap of 8:05. Gonna get it under 8 mins tomorrow So far it's been really fun, I got 5th on both laps. I can't yet catch the lambo's due to my gearing being off leading to a really bad top speed. I can see them on the final straight though.

The Ford Mark IV Race Car '67 makes a nice drive for all five races on sports hard tires. Detuned to 350 HP and weighing 1000kg, it is neither as powerful or as light as the Lambos but it handles superbly on the sports hard tires.

I could win all the race with the Lambos on sports hard except the Ring where I needed sports mediums. I wanted to find a car that could win on the Ring with SH and the Mark IV is that car.

Good effort. Did you finish the race or give up?? I had a go at Rome in my Honda Z - almost caught up with the 11th place 'Vette a couple of times but it disappeared once on the straights... stuck it out til the end though

I like the old Corvettes for these races. I tuned a '63 to be competitive on SS tires. It has 520pp but can be tuned down for some of the tracks to make it closer. I also like the premium '69 convertible.

This is a fun seasonal. You can run some great cars and tune for some close racing (if you want).
