Another backyard hike today. This time only 10 miles round trip with total elevation gain of 2900 feet. Much easier.

From my wife’s camera. This guy gave us a quick photo op before he bombed over the edge.

This is Red Dead Redemption 2 in real life.

Beautiful scenery.

That is a backyard to be jealous of.

We’re planning our big hike for next weekend. 20+ miles, 4300 feet of elevation gain, two passes, multiple glaciers and lakes. Should be pretty spectacular if the weather cooperates.

A lot of people break it up into two or three days, but if we start early enough, we should be fine. Guessing it will be a 14 hour day hike.

Summers almost up, have to get it in before the weather changes.

As promised, here are some shots from our 20mi hike yesterday. I think our total elevation gain was around 4300 feet, covering two passes. Beautiful country and worth the 12 hour day.

I realized how little of my Instagram is actually pictures of my face. Not that that's a bad thing, but figured I ought to even out the ratio a little.

I have been wanting this jersey for quite some time now. (Over a year...) And finally pulled the trigger as prices have been cut quite a bit.

Bought a hat too to even out what I was saving with the price cut on the jersey because why not :P

From the Latest Purchase thread... The hat is little big for OSFA but, I guess I can't complain too much. That's common for me. Jersey fits perfect though. :)

Probably would be completely the opposite for me and my big stupid head.

Not a baseball fan but I really like the hat and the color of that jersey. Very nice. 👍
