I don't consider it as interesting now that it is all paved...
dudeguyPikes Peak is all tarmac now. The time attack is nothing like it used to be. It's a shame.
austin125This has probably been made a thread before if so sorry didn't fell like searching! but that aside i want to know WHY IN THE HELL CANT THEY PUT PIKES PEAK IN THE F ING GAME!! Thanks For reading.
1: No need for an all caps rage.
2: I know you "didn't feel like it" but members and mods are going to have a problem if you start creating duplicate threads.
3: Do you have any idea how much modeling, texturing, etc it would take to get pikes peak in Gran Turismo? It is about the distance of the Nurburgring! It would most definitely take away time from other, more worth while projects PD could be working on such as more cars, shorter and more famous tracks, and other minor details that need to be sorted out and are far more important than adding in Pikes Peak. You really need to think about this stuff before you decide to rage about it in a thread.
Pikes Peak will never be in Gran Turismo 5. Thats the blunt truth.

It's not ALL paved. There are still some dirt sections. I drove it just a few months ago, it's a public road.
CrushedInstead of writing all that and not talking about the thread you could just report ya know...

The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC), also known as The Race to the Clouds, is an annual automobile and motorcycle hillclimb to the summit of Pikes Peak in Colorado, a distance of 19.99 km (12.42 mi) over 156 turns, climbing 1,439 meters (4,721 ft) from the start at Mile 7 on Pikes Peak Highway at 2,862 meters (9,390 ft) on grades averaging 7% over historically both gravel and paved sections, however as of August 2011, the highway is fully paved and as a result all subsequent runnings will be on tarmac from start to finish.

Well, it used to be basically a dirt track the size of nurburgring going increasing over a mile in altitude from start to finish. It is home to the pikes peak race which is basically rally on steroids. But now it is completely on tarmac since the whole thing got paved. (or so I've heard)THEPUNISHERCan someone tells what the hell with pikes peak ?
i don't get it , what is all about ?
You can believe wikipedia, or you can believe the guy that lives in Colorado Springs, can see Pikes Peak from his house and drove it a few months ago.
