There are a lot of older gamers which seems sometimes weird to people, but is pretty logical, since we are from the gaming generation (Atari ST, MSX, Commodere 64, Amiga etc).

Once you have it, you cannot let it go !

Age 20, Played GT5 & 6 very casually but properly got into competitive sim racing halfway through last year, just got 75,000 DR a couple hours ago so I guess I'm pretty quick? But some guys still absolutely put me to shame ahem @TRL LIGHTNING cough cough ahem

45 and sim racing since this:

Which helps me to never complain about a so-called lack of content in a modern game.

A few years ago, when i added a Facebook button to a GT5 website, i landed on a age stats page on facebook on the website audience, showing a quite older (many in their 40's) than the usual gaming audience.

My first 'racing sim' lol was TCR woop woop, limited 'tracks' and cars compared to my custom races and track designer in the mud in the back garden with matchbox cars.

Jam car still makes me think of jam on toast :drool:

I got TCR one Christmas. It was so disappointing after the TV advert.

"Starsky & Hutch" o_O
Isn't that The Dukes of Hazzard licensed instead?
Maybe the work of the same marketing ppl who released the PlayStation V-Rally games under the brand "Need for Speed" in the US.

But i digress.

This was my first racing game. Loved it, but was rubbish at it lol

Been playing GT since the beginning.
